Okay, Rick.
He could’ve gotten more if Rick wasn’t there.
He would’ve got more if he didn’t cave so quick. Shouldn’t have taken less than $7000
Less than 6000 is so unfair
Thomas Magno exactly, but this might be staged. If it’s real poor guy.
I know I Tried !! That’s my second go around With Them Great Folks almost made a deal on a Pair of Dueling Pistols !! Thanks for Watching

Not addicted but im commited
I have a terrible attention span so these are perfect for me
I always have it on and most people take half the value 🤦🏽♂️
Same
Exactly what imsosad said😂💯
I love how butthurt they get when the value goes up and the customer wants more money.
it's all staged
I can imagine them being a bit angry after hearing how much more it's worth and Rick then stonewalling them, but when it's the opposite way Rick STILL low-balls to his advantage 😱🙄😂💯‼️

At auction, this thing will go for closer to $20k I bet.
curtis m Considering all factors ( especially when it was tested on the firing range ) it could. On a "lucky" day maybe even higher.
Business is business
*The guy* : 7500
*Typical Rick* : No way. I gotta frame it and it's gonna be in the shop for 20 years. I can do 5000. And im taking a huge risk here.

In his defense it does take time and money for an auction. Then there's always that you can lose your initial investment.

Chum taking charge and going over Rick' s head is even more entertaining
You couldn't script this stuff! Oh wait...
I always wonder why they kept Chum until ya see this and then it all makes sense.
The thing was worth 10 grand. Rick could still make $4800. What's 200 bucks?
Well Chum did have to stop drugs after his house was raided by police for one thing and the law found other things like crystal meth, marijuana, Xanax and traces of cocaine.
Expert "yeah it's worth about $10 grand"
Rick "best I can do is a $50 gift card to Lowe's"

I would love to see a spin off of the guitar shop or even the toys shack, I think they’re both awesome also
😂 😂
Alex who?
Nah sounds whack
I’d rather watch paint dry.
Rick goes to the "KFC" and eat with his family
Cashier: The bill amount is $40.30.
Rick: The best I can do is $3 bucks and I am taking a huge risk here.
Cashier: But sir, that’s your amount.
Rick: Alright let me call my buddy that knows a lot about KFC.
THEN CHUMBLEE ENTER….
CHUMLEE: Let's meet in the middle. We'll give you the $3 and a picture taking with me and we can call it a deal. That's how you make deal Rick!

That was so stupid
Chum Lee:(inspects chicken)
There’s a lot of breast meat in this box and it’s not really worth a lot, you would be lucky if you even get $2 for it... even for $2 it’s just gonna sit in the warmers for at least 3 days before someone comes to buy it, so we’re taking a huge risk here with $3 .....
Chumlee was awesome here. Love the way he closed the deal! 😁
The rick's face during chum's deal offer was so funny 😂😂😂😂
I love it when chum closes a deal! Just love that guy
"where'd you get the plates?"

They never asked him how he got it. Might ha e been a cool story.

Many times they just hire people to come on the show and the "owner" was a horrible actor. Just saying,
They had us in the first half not gonna lie

Looted it from another pawn shop.

Or, get this guys it's going to blow your mind. Everything you see through "negotiations" is fake. They already agreed on a price before cameras are rolling. Everything you see if for "entertainment" and drama
Insane, this nicely made from the 17th century. Someone had to be pretty skilled to make this back then
Or just patient. People have been metalworking for thousands of years, so it's not surprising. It's just that they took the time to make it well.
Was probably more than one, gunsmith and jeweler working together.
I had to rewind it 8 times because the seller's expression around 5:26 is freakin hilarious
Out of all the firearms they get. This is the one that I would love to have in my collection... I always admire German made pistols etc, quality seems top notch..
That actually has to be the coolest item ever brought on the show. I want it.
Lock picking lawyer needs to get to the pawn shop lol
Insert the wiper blade, standard pick, nothing out of one, slight click on two, feels like a false gate on three, back to one. . . . There. Open in 12 seconds. As you can see, you wouldn't use this to lock your bike.

I love how Chum made a command decision and made a deal on his own. That was more than a fair deal.
“I think I can get more than $5000”
*laughs in Rick*
This was an amazing piece! It's hard to find an original regular padlock and key together from 300 years ago, let alone this. The history and story of when they were made and how they managed to stay together in this condition for centuries would be very interesting.
"Don't forget the lock Rick"!!! Classic!! LOL

@@royisdabest I concur with you! He asked for 5k, to it was valued at 10k. If it was me, I'd ask for 8.5k to start. Knowing Rick he would say exactly what he said. Then work it down to 7.5 or at least 7k.
Give me a break. It’s a pawn shop that doesn’t take high risks and you get cash in hand immediately. You need the money? Nobody on the street is gonna hand it to you. Then he’s gotta pay a percentage to put it in the auction. Gotta pay the an employee or your own time to set all that up and you still aren’t guaranteed to make money. Open your own pawn shop and buy it yourself if you think they’re shaking the guy down...
No I’ve seen episodes where Rick gets torched at auctions. Auctions aren’t guaranteed, you never know what’s going to happen if there’s no reserve.
Getting the deal done chum, Rick on the other hand not amused on losing a couple hundred and his dignity to hold power 🤣 this was a great one to watch
Man Chuck just told Rick “that’s how u close a deal”. Bold move buddy

The man should’ve gotten 6, that was an extremely sleezy thing to do not increasing his initial bid by a grand, really douchy.
What a cool piece that was. Never seen or heard of one. Was fun to watch. Great video
Best part seeing Chum finally put Rick in his place, and close his own deal. Oh, and leaving Rick to pick up his mess. 😆

$5,200 for something worth $10k? What a joke.
Guy got robbed
Why everyone's always saying people got robbed? ... Let's say rick actually sells it for $10,000 he paid $5200 so he's only making $4800 which is less than ol boy made off of rick
"You have to understand its going to sit in my shop for 40 years until just the right collector comes in and tells me I need to take it to auction. At auction its only gonna sell for $23 but after auction fees I only get $12. I have a business to run and the millions I make from TV and CZcams dont cover Chums coke habit so I'll offer you $3.50 and not a penny more"
