i found once you can afford a eclipse put on size 9 missiles, you can get upto the very hard targets and take out the bigger sized ships with 1 missile, most you will encounter will be hammerheads, cutty blacks, but 1 missile and bye bye, easy to make upto 340k per mission.

Thanks for the secret tip! Are the Illegal Monitor missions still a thing? I can't log into 3.18, so waiting for .1 or .2 to go live. Those were always good ways to get a good stack of credits to get going. Not the most efficient time wise, but still good credits.
Illegal monitors are still a thing! They've tweaked them slightly with enemy fighters being a bit more present.

Happy to Help! Critical Threats are pretty hectic. Multiple ships would help keep the heat off just one ship. But never say never right?
You can manager a crit threat with a corsair.
The only time I go to the Crusader System is to buy parts for my Ship on Orison and guns and general equipment in Grim-Hex. Then I go to all other 3 systems

Combat beacons are broken though, so how are they a good method? They don’t spawn.

Thanks for the secret tip - I always killed them all and got mission failed, lol. I've been chaining service beacons for quite a while now and have gotten really good at them, making upwards of 400-500k an hour doing them solo. Initially in either a Mustang Alpha, which I've done up to 250k missions solo in, or I'll steal an NPC ship (connie, etc.) after completing a mission and run them that way (sometimes even with manned turrets!). If I don't steal a ship, I've been burning through them in my Gladius, though I can't kill the Hammerheads fast enough on the High tier missions if they spawn. Here's a secret tip for you: mission giver NPCs consider you friendly, so often you can board their ships after the mission to borrow it for a bit...) ;)
Update: I just did a high level service beacon after watching this and it was a raid, so I noped right out of it and got 247k!😆

Very damn hard to do when they are not spawning anywhere. been to Eu server and US server and China server all along hurston, microtech,arcorp and crusader. Nothing anywhere. Wtf man =((( did they remove them to force us to do the boring shit stuff?

I think the "secret tip" is more like a glitch/exploit but ok :)
It could be, though I'm unsure it is. If it is they'll fix it hopefully 😅
FFS 3.18.1 is now a full wipe. All I've been doing is grinding cash and rep waiting for that.
Once I heard about the Cargo exploit I took my foot off the Gas on Grinding Rep and Creds. Kinda expected a bigger wipe, but Double dip of wipe surprised me!
ill probably will pass on 3.18.1, I mean they will do another full wipe incl. rep, when 3.18.2 goes live
So, if this game ever fully releases, there is less incentive for a player to pledge for a ship, as their in game purchased ships should always stay with their account. This is why I see wipes never going away.
I've often thought the same tbh
When you pledge ships you get insurance with it, when you buy in game you dont. If something happens to the ship then you wont get it back. You can buy insurance in game, but getting insurance for many large ships…not so viable
Also to me there is a different feeling towards a ship if I had bought it in game or with irl money, idk how to explain this but it just feels nicer if pledged?
