So far after making this video is everything still holding up as far as any coolant leaks? Iâve heard a lot of people going back to the AC delco hoses. I know you said you had to double clamp where it was leaking in that one spot just wanting to know if itâs worth it or just go back with AC delco. Love the videos man and thanks.
At the very end of the video you said that you didnât do the install. Does that mean you paid someone to install the water pump? If so, how much did something like that cost you? I ask because, eventually, my water pump will go out and Iâm not sure if thatâs something I want to tackle on my own or just pay someone to do it.
Yeah I got quoted from a couple of shops and it was $730 to $1k. I obviously got the better deal lol but yeah my deal was I just didn't have enough time and a place to do it. Cause my worry was It would take me forever to do and if messed up that damn worry some o ring I wouldn't know until I got it all buttoned up and it would leak so then I would have to rip it all up again and I just didn't want to risk it and I just paid a shop to do and I could have my truck back in one day rather then me mess up lol I just use my truck everyday so I couldn't be down for longer then a day
