Thanks for your very useful video. The problem I am having, apart from the clips pinging across the room and disappearing, is that the straight ends of the clips do not sit neatly under the top of the rail and parallel to it. They stick inwards at an angle towards each other over the sleepers although the curved part is in the correct place. Hope that makes sense. Am I doing something wrong?
I make mine out of old electric guitar strings. Plain or wound. Don't go thicker than a "D" in wound,! Trim to suitable length, bend a bit and insert in the points.
thanks for the video responce it was very helpful and now i wont have to spend as much time on wireing and just put them in instead.
thanks for vidd and tips as im going dcc next year with new durham junction
Thanx for that at last an answer
So no need for insulated fishtail on dcc setup? Just use the or track links and make the whole track live?

Could you use a Hornby Link Wire instead?

@@hugotyson308 Thanks mate, just saw your comment. Tried it and it worked a treat!
So all I need to do is add the clips to all of my points and I'm away? Just one DCC controller?
I know you can with Hornby eLink
The clips I used dident fit in the peco streamline points
i just used a hornby link wire instead
