- In This video I give my thoughts and opinions on Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. I think this season was very good and is pretty underrated from a lot of players but let me know down in the comments below what you thought of Fortnite chapter 4 Season 2.

I hate drumm shotgun and lack of mobility at the beginning of the season, jungle is also very messy. One of worst zero build seasons for me.
Mobility was lacking most of this season. Hoping thats resolved in the upcoming season

Driving cars is alright, but since there's no off-tires nor cow catcher and no speed boosting Whiplash this season. Driving through this map with the jungle biome is absolute nightmare.
Yeah Zero build with no mobility is just a death sentence. The reason they take stuff out u bc cry baby streamers cry about people "running" away.
Skill issue, use shockwaves if you’re struggling for mobility in ZB.
This was only my second season but it definitely was a step down from the previous, in my opinion. The jungle is pretty but it's not very fun to fight in there.
For me. What saved The Wilds was the weapons. And the introduction of new weapons. That and the Mammoth Pistol played the biggest role in that for me
I quit about 2 weeks into this season. I hated that they took mobility out as long as they did, hated the jungle, and the weapons. That’s just my opinion, I will try next season to see if it’s something I enjoy.

Just me, or was the battlepass very poor? Lack of movement initially was horrible in zero build initially.
There were a lot of really basic skins that made me wonder they were anything other than 800 VBuck skins.

The only thing I was so disappointed about was the LACK of mobility this season. The grapple glove was introduced later in the season and wasn't enough for me. The jungle POI's was ok but very dense to be in constantly AND fall damage from the tree tops in the jungle was scary to say the least.
It was different, took a lot to master the jungle. People don't like uncertainty, Jungle was a challenge.
They just really need to start making good summer events again, I would agrue it was worse than last years event. Outside of that, mid season
Honestly, the biggest change THIS season for me, was losing the Red Eye for the Mk Alpha.
Which did you prefer? I kinda wanted to see the Red Eye gone because we had it for 2 seasons already. But I kinda like the Mk Alpha.
I liked both I think the game probably plays better with the mk since its more limited on range.
I think this season was pretty good. For whatever reason, I only won 6 crowns, whereas last season I won 22, and the season before that was 24. So I didn't play as well. Might simply be that I was placed in higher lobbies. I have mixed feelings about the Drum shotty. I hated using it because any competent player would take me out with pump & smg. But when I used pump & smg I had to nail that opening shot or I would lose to the drum. I didn't get people doing the shockwave & repeater thing on me. I think maybe that was more of a pro-lobby problem. Same with pump & repeater. I think the best thing about this season was the lack of snipers. I hate to be petty but that is the one thing that will instantly wreck a season for me. Stand there to put a key in a holo-chest and "boom" it's game over. Run in a straight line "boom" it's over. Actually play the game and shoot at somebody "boom" it's over, third partied by tower sniper on the other end of the POI. Last season I felt like "Dude, should I take the shot on this guy with my AR? If I do, it's gonna be game over from some sniper." It made me just crouch and not play the game. Dude, randomly getting sniped by someone hiding in a building, makes me just not even want to play the game. I F'n hated least season. But then again, maybe the reason I won so many crowns is because all the good players were getting one-shot-killed by the bush snipers who were terrified to actually play the game, so when I met them at end game (and I do distinctly remember this) they'd run at me, full panic attack, firing blindly into the wind while I sprayed them down with the pulse rifle. I always went for the island last season. I said to everyone I played with, "if you don't have the skill and the stones to conquer island, you will lose to the guy who does, and you're only postponing the inevitable because now that guy has the pulse rifle." Honestly, I didn't mind the drum shotty that bad. I feel like, if you die to a blue drum shotty, you were asking for it. You were given every opportunity to either shockwave out of there, or pump & spray for the win. When dying to the sniper, you did nothing wrong, there was nothing you could have done, your only mistake was not hiding in a bush somewhere. I didn't mind the mammoth pistol either, because even if you sniped me in the head, I'd still be alive, I can shockwave behind a rock and pop off some heals, wait for the push and wait for you to make a mistake. I still felt like I was playing the game. And the moral of the story is... I F'n hate snipers. The sniper is there for people who don't want to play the game, but grief those who are. At least the dragons breath is a moderately rare augment and came at the end of the season. Also, this season had Bender, any season with Bender is gonna be good.
This season was also shorter than both the previous chapter 4 seasons so that could play into getting less crowns as well.
I feel the same way about snipers. But I loved season 2 just bc of odm/sword and play the game you chose to play. If I got sniped, pissed off but it's a game. But with ya, I fck hate snipers
The most annoying parts of the season for me were the forest (went around it whenever possible), the wasps, and the animals. Of anything I hope they get rid of animals/wasps and get rid of the repeater rifle.
My only problem were the mammuth pistol and the explosive rifle.
The rifle I Moreso understand. But the MK isn't an issue? Mammoth pistol is more of a skillbased risk reward weapon.

I feel the same way, the stars of the season was so weird but it progressively got better, I ended up enjoying the loot pool a lot at the end
The gray havoc ar was too op, it needs to be vaulted

When you mentioned the jungle in the new update my first thought was the dinosaurs, which are so annoyinggg, like yes I hate the drum but the god damn dinosaurs were super annoying
I've been saying since a week after it's release...the jungle POI is just not it. Along with Mammoth pistols and Drum shotguns, it's a pain. This season was mid but playable, finished the BP and ready for the next season! Great video bro 🦖
Honestly I think wild’s only problem was the lack of mobility, but there was a fair few augments and the grapple glove+shockwaves
I would have liked them to keep the rails at the other POIs that they took away. I also wanted a few non jungle areas where we could have had mud. A slight nerf to the drum shotguns rate of fire would have been nice.
Playing the new season, I'm so happy that the Drum is gone. The new weapons are also a massive step in the right direction, they're fun and high-risk/high-reward which incidentally fits the theme of the new season. The outcomes of fights feel a lot more reliant on mobility and skill rather than "who has the highest DMG Drum/Repeater/MK wins".
6/10 is definitely a good rating for the previous season though.
The one thing I really liked about this season was how it fixed the only problem with the MEGA season.
And that is how they made vaults and the island less campable due to the random spawn and the loot pool.
I started playing Fortnite during the Star Wars collab last season, so I’m too new to have a real opinion. I simply want to thank you for all the content you put out. It has helped me gain a better understanding of the mechanics and strategy of the game.
I've played 2.5 yrs. this was my least favorite meta/map update and the least i've played. i can't believe i'd pick the primal season over this one but i do. BUT, it's the most comp i've ever watched and loved comp this summer.

This was my first time ever playing fortnite this season. I liked the weapon pool compared to the heist season.
I enjoyed this season but it is not as good as last. I only really found the drum annoying for me consistently, while a few other things were temporary or minor annoyances. Other then that, I found it fun to be in an entire new environment with a new gameplay loop to it.
This was my third season (I know, I'm very late to the game lol). I enjoyed last season more, for sure. But I still had a lot of fun this season. The jungle wasn't as exciting as I expected, but I still had some good fights there. I feel like it helped me improve my overall situational awareness, as well as being able to fight on the fly if need be. I'd probably give it a 6.5/10.
I'm definitely excited to see what POI and loot pool changes will come with next season!

I think the vault(s) should be on a train or semi trucks that randomly appear on the map, unmarked.
Absolutely great content Jake as always. I remember the LTMs. It was so fun. I hope they come back soon, my stats still show a LTM section showing my kills and wins so it's a possibility. Fortnite! Recycle your old ideas and make them new again. Also once mobility came into season 3 it was playable again IMO. Great video..) Keep up the great work Jake.
Explosive repeater rifle was really the only thing I hated in this season, that gun makes me not want to play the game lol
Will definitely be using your code for support a creator when I get the new battle pass. I've never used a code before but I really appreciate your videos. I love the honesty. You obviously love the game but you're honest about the flaws. We were talking about the drum and the repeater earlier and I almost said word for word what you did. I use both in my loadout but it's almost because I have to. They should give you an icon skin. It would be the only one I would buy.

the shockwave + repeater was broken, repeater was super fun weapon but that combo for that long in the game was bizzare. All round loved that season, had a lot of solo wins but unfortunetally can't experience much of the new season because off pc issues
I enjoyed it towards the end and started playing in general in the middle of the season.
Ch4 im not enjoying the weapons yet, and shotguns everywhere.
Loved this season! I did not like season 2 (I stopped playing for ten weeks). There was something bung with S2 in the way fights went down; it could have been a localised server / ping issue i suspect (playing in NZ, server in Australia).

Jungle had too many bugs with the trees and trying to maneuver the canopy. The RNG of getting attacked by raptors that for some reason are in Brutal...plus the broken repeater. I have so much to vet, but I won't carry on
I don't enjoy the jungle biom at all. It was rough for me at first. I took so much fall damage.
I would rate this my least favorite season. I think that's why I'm that much more excited about season 4.

I started playing in chapter 3 a year ago and i can honestly say that this has been the worst seasons ive ever played so far really terrible
Futurama seemed to go by in the blink of an eye, which annoyed me because it's the only collab IP I actually like, whereas the manga collabs I've never heard of seem to go on forever
Remember epic got sued and had to pay out restitution it didn't surprise me that the season wasn't as spectacular as it could have been
Take away the repeater, but the Mammoth pistol can stay.

I agree with you but why don’t add map changes throughout the season like in chapter 3 and before. All they do is collabs and stuff. They don’t add anything to new throughout the season for the poi’s
This season was incredibly meh for me. I didn't buy the battle pass because it sucks, I didn't win a SINGLE game because of the lack of mobility, and I just die to that stupid drum shotgun every time which is why I didn't play that much this season.
The sniper is good but what I've found most helpful about it is setting thr tree campers on fire. One shot and they gotta move.

Unpopular opinions but I rly like the jungle and the lack of mobility items. The mobility items are really annoying to me, and I think it’s a fun challenge to try and shoot in the jungle
Next season I would like to see all ars currently in the game vaulted and the ar, burst and scoped ar come back the scoped ar is extremely accurate but not op like modern scoped ars

This season is a 6.5 out of 10 i loved the jungle biome but it felt stale and boring after a month
Least liked season since I started w zero build. I cant stand the jungle. No mobility at the beginning ruined it for me. I can't stand the drum shotgun either
Epic is doing an amazing job. People who complain are those who want predictability. Epic purposely makes it very hard to go over 10% wins even if you live for Fortnite, otherwise people like me would never ever get any wins. My win rate is around 7%, if it fell to 2% I guarantee you I would lose interest. You get satisfaction when you eliminate a human player but you also hate when someone eliminates you, people who constantly get eliminated leave the game. Some unpredictability is absolutely crucial and Epic knows it.
Honestlly, very few things could've followed up MEGA + ODM Gear and been impressive. It didn't help that the Battle Pass was just... yeesh.
The Thermal DMR was an absolutley trash weapon. Its use was to help in the jungle and help from people using cloak gloves but those two things were not really that much of a problem.
I thought the season was OK but not particularly exceptional. Still enjoyable though. I did have a rather embarrassing end game last night though. Four of us playing in ZB squads. We'd hired three NPCs and there was only one opponent remaining. We also had the high ground. 7 vs 1 - an easy win right? Right? Well, due to poor team coordination we managed to get killed one by one. The final player rightly gave us the Laugh It Up emote at the end.
Very much a, whatever, forgettable season. My favorite part of it was the banana umbrella glider haha.
“Mid” is very accurate
Imo this was one of the worst seasons. They removed the mobility, battlepass sucked and the jungle was just too colorful I couldn't focus on one thing and the lootpool wasn't satisfying to play with.I liked the plants with shield or those you can jump off to get the high ground tho. I really just wanted to get the free glider from Jujutsu Kaisen and while doing the challenges i accidentally got to level 70+ so i decided to finish the battlepass on level 100, no extra rewards cuz they sucked also. The only one skin I cared about was Optimus Prime.
Map:
I hated the map changes tbh. This jungle has to be the worst biome so far. It brings the chapter 4 map from a 8/10 down to a 4/10. The POIs were ok, I guess, but I never landed there.
Lootpool:
The balancing of this season was definitely better than last season's, but it still wasn't great. The lootpool was good, but at the same time also repetitive.
Battle Pass:
It was ok, nothing special. The super styles on the other hand though, weren't really.
The only great thing about this season was it's length...
I know all the things above sounded really negative and I also don't view the season as good, but it's probably still better than most of chapter 2 seasons (Ik pretty unpopular opinion nowadays).
Overall I would give this season a 4/10. For perspective, last season was a generous 6/10 and season 1 a 8/10. So yeah it's definitely the worst season of chapter 4 so far.
Mammoth pistol made the season for me… without it I’d be disappointed
in my opinion this one was better than the last and I'm glad the katana was vaulted, season 1 was better for sure tho

I thought almost all of the POIs in the jungle all looked very samey. For me this chapter has been pretty Meh. I have not really enjoyed a season since Ch3 Season 2 with the collider event.
