- Was Chapter Four as bad as everybody says? We will see after I rank all of the seasons. In this video, I take a retrospective look at Chapter Four and share my opinion on each season. Thank you for watching, and as always, have a great week.

Yeah, all Chapters should be 2 years long and have 8-10 Seasons. Give them room to shine and time to die. Chapter 3's map was near to perfection with Chapter 1's and had so much potential for future Seasons. Chapter 4 not as much but the whole "Zero Point bringing junks of land from different realities" really didn't get used as much as I would've liked. I don't really see what can change in the Chapter 5 map but it's big enough and unique enough to last at least 6 Seasons. If this beauty of a map is gone at the end of the year, the Uninstall button will look shinier than during Primal.
Chapter 4 Seasons 1 and 2 were absolutely peak. I love the concept of the Chapter 4 map. Pulling together chunks of different realities is such a Fortnite thing to do.
Their Battle Passes were solid. ESPECIALLY Season 2’s. Probably my favorite BP of all time.
Items were really fun. Especially the Hammer and ODM gear. I love the Highcards, Combat Caches, and Loot Island from Season 2, and I’m glad they kept them until even now (even if they’ve all been nerfed hard).
Season 3 was a massive fumble. Shatting a giant jungle in the middle of the map instead of adding new chunks like Season 2 really sucked. The only good thing I can say about Season 3 was that it got lore back on track after Season 2.
They could have absolutely added more land to the map In s3
I feel like the chapter 4 map had so much lost potential, they could've had new pois float in from the distance and connect to the island mid season so we could actually have mid season map updates so the map didn't get so boring so quickly
Honestly the map after the jungle was added just looked really bad
It's biggest drawback is the removal of storyline quests in season 3 and it has still continued onto chapter 5.

Chapter 4 was a filler chapter so they can focus more on OG, Chapter 5, Lego, and the other game modes
Chapter 4 had an amazing start, but it progressively got worse over the seasons. Even tho this was my first full played chapter, i will always have a bad memory about this chapter

Epic went absolutely abysmal with the absolute dog shit of balancing metas season 3-4.
It made everyone I played with quit the entire season.

I didn't expect the low amount of views and subs, you had pretty good editing, anyway, here is how I'd rank all the Seasons,
1: Chapter 4 Season 1, I don't know, I loved this season, I just had so much fun with it, from the Shockwave Hammer, the Anime Stuff being back, the crazy amount of fun bugs, the Most Wanted Stuff, and especially THE AUGMENTS, the Augments that Season were so fun, Soaring Sprints, Rift-Jector Seat, the one that gave you the 2 Bows, Bow Specialist, Etc.
2: It was a hard decision, but I think I choose Chapter 4 Season 4, Fortnitemares was cool, weapons were cool (aside from the shotguns) and the storyline it had was actually alright.
3: Chapter 4 Season 2, it was a hard choice, considering the movement was so good, I absolutely loved the Lootpool, (Mainly the Havoc Pump) and I loved the Slurp Juice.
4: Chapter 4 Season 3, this season is absolutely doo-doo
This is a valid list, the top three for me are actually interchangeable. And I loved all three of my top three season.

I feel that they should of brought back older POI’s with the different seasons like maybe in season two we could of gotten lucky landing, or in season one we could of gotten polar peak and misty meadows. Older POI’s give less work for Epic and gives players a sense of familiarity on the new map
Ik but the old maps and pois DONT fit with the current map style and as a fellow og the og season was more mid then the fracture event what made it good was the nostalgia
First of all lucky landing was for the chinese lunar year whatever and season 2 was japanese themed those are 2 different things 😂😂

My review:
Season 1: This was by far the best season imo. The map was still great, the lootpool was fun, but balanced. We had imo the best season themed items in this season (oathbound). The Heist update at the end of the season was awesome. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I loved the Deku Smash.
Season 2: The map was still great and the lootpool was good too, but the balancing was awful. I liked the new combat caches and the loot island. We had a lot of movement and towards the end it got kind of annoying. The Battle Pass was one of the best ones ever.
Season 3: This was awful. The map got ruined. The lootpool was ok though.
Season 4: The map was still shit, but a bit better. The lootpool was ok, but don't get me started on the balancing. I still can't comprehend how they decided to nerf the MK but then not the busted Twin Mag. The Battle Pass was good though. It was honestly quite forgettable.

4) Season 3 (3.5/10)
3) Season 4 (5.5/10)
2) Season 2 (6/10)
1) Season 1 (8/10)
Season 1 was the best of chapter 4 hands down i believe that chapter 4 season 1 would have still been the first season of chapter 4 and the battle pass skins had such good designs

@D1Kwazy We still had the jungle, so the map was still shit. The balancing was bad, the Twin Mag was wayyy too dominant. It was peak in comparison to chapter 5 though, but I could say this about most seasons.
Chapter 4 was an amazing chapter for the most part, does not deserve the hate

much as im fond w wilds, im willing to admit it aint perfect by far, i just think weve had worse seasons before (or i have a collab bias idk.)
im willing to defend the mega buildings tho, as with how big they were, having to generate all those floors and props would probably give some peoples hardware a harder time. they were the biggest buildings weve ever had, and ive had friends on switch whove had lag issues with how it already was. (i also think itd be way too easy for someone to hide in all game)

Technically season OG is part of Chapter 4, but I understand why you didn't include it. It's a completely different map which breaks the chapter formula of each chapter having only one map. Great video overall!

Chapter 4 season 1 was my favorite season in the last 3 years, it's was unique plus I like medieval stuff that's why I own all the knights skins, and the most wanted update was the best mid season update we ever got imo but I think people already forgot about it, and the worst thing about it all the anime mythic all together at the same time and the glitches because the devs was in vacation
There's no way this isn't satire, the map was the smallest in fortnite history, there were the fewest pois of the entire fortnite history and the battle pass was mid according to like.. every fortnite player!?

@@remrants I suppose so. Maybe I let my personal bias be what everyone else thought, because I thought everyone hated chapter 3 like I did. I learned recently because I've started watching more FN videos that people actually really enjoyed chapter 3! So knowing that everyone didn't love chapter 4 is also confusing to me. I also find myself not agreeing with the ranking of chapter 4 seasons the other commenters generally have. Wilds grew on me, while I really disliked shockwave hammers in season 1. I also hated how they balanced season 4 and it felt kind of unplayable. I liked season 2 the best, everything just felt really balanced and the map wasn't cluttered at all.

Honestly, chapter 4 wasn't really bad imo. It was just boring. The most 6.5/10 chapter ever with no events, lackluster midseason updates, and a god awful story. Every day 1 of the season on the other hand (except wilds), felt really unique and fun, but each season dragged on way for way too long. Mega was my favorite of ch4 (excluding season OG because that's in a weird gray area), but even that had very lacking mid-season updates. It was better than ch3 imo, but not by much. Also wilds was the worst season ever created and bumps the chapter as a whole an entire point down how did they fuck it up that bad
Also the battle passes and overlal cosmetics were a huge upgrade imo. Like I can not name a single non collab emote from ch3 (other than lil whip), but with ch4 we had balance boars, chef's special, beatzbunny, and so many more original emotes/music packs that were really great and high quality. Also 2 of my favorite skins, The Dealer and Piper Pace, were both released in ch4s4, as well as 4 of my favorite tracks in the ost, being rise of the revenant, stealing the vault, race to the horizon, and hungry for the chase. Like they seriously had no reason for going so hard for that season and ch4 as a whole

Personal opinion on Chapter 4:
Season 1 was a solid start and was great and was the time I really go into the game.
The skins, weapons were pretty good.
The POIs were alright.
Season 2 has to be peak of this Chapter as it added a new POI, weapons were good and the skins were pretty cool.
It also had cool collabs (favorite one being Star wars).
Season 3 was a disaster hands down.
Season 4 is a solid season but I didn't found that too special really.
Overall Chapter: Not that bad as you may think.
It also was the only chapter to add one of the coolest mechanics wich were augments.
And that's something only exclusive to this chapter as it was scrapped for Chapter 5 really late into the season.
C5S1 made me comeback to Fortnite again and it just reminded me of all the fun I had in C4S1 and 2.
Honestly, I actually overall enjoyed this chapter, most of the seasons (We aren't gonna talk about Wilds) had lots of stuff that I actually enjoyed, especially MEGA and Last Resort for me personally. The map was also great, albeit only the C4S1 and C4S4 maps were ones I really liked a lot.

I think everyone hated the Wilds. The only thing I like from that season was the return of Slone and some of the skins that released that season.
I actually think wilds was better than last resort. It had the mammoth and repeater rifle, jujutsu kaisen collab, the jungle had plenty of mats and loot, the cybertron cannon was cool, and the Meta was nice
Chapter 4 season 1 was fun for a little but I couldn't handle how annoying it was, chapter 4 season 4 was the only good one

The Chapter 4 map brought me back somehow back in season 1 as the island being in space is something intresting and it spike my interest back to the game and playing zero build and only zero build was crazy and it has many covers it's actually alright for both builds and zb, Chapter 4 S4 was my favorite season and i actually 100 crowned win that season and level 500 that battle pass and it was badass as it felt like chapter 4 ended off with a bang!

once fortnite realizes that people don’t need a new chapter each year and that we just need new exciting changes to that already existing map then the seasons will get better. can’t get any proper memories or nostalgia on a map that lasts a year. unlike ch1 and 2 when people felt more connected to that map and the memories made on it

Hot af take: that season was super good. Other than the wilds it’s was super fun. The hammer and mythic were amazing, the heist was cool and in my opinion the map wasn’t that bad. Also the weapons where so fun to use and where so good

in hindsight, OG probably was going to exist, it would have just been Chapter 3: Season OG
I don’t think the wild season was that bad, sure it wasn’t the best season of all time, but it was still good
chapter 4 got so repetitive to me. In my eyes they did not experiment much this chapter. Every season was basically just here’s the new movement item, another pump shotgun to replace the pump shotgun from last season, a dmr and the seasonal anime collab. It was predictable to me and felt very uninspired. Another thing is, every new vehicle they added felt the same to me
Meanwhile Chapter 3 wowed me with their gameplay changes throughout the seasons, adding reality saplings, weather, the whole chrome mechanic (people do not talk enough about how much depth they put into the chrome mechanic), zero build, mantle and sprint.
There were also, 0 mid season map changes after chapter 3 had just spoiled us with what felt like monthly poi updates

I hope we never get another jungle in this game again, though we will, please wait like another 7 years
I joined in chapter 3 season 4, I LOVED chapter 4.
Season 1 was my favourite, my favourite time of the season was when the deku smash and the dragon ball mythics were in at the same time. Season 4 was top 2 imo
Are you kidding? Chapter 4 season 1 had the single worst loot pool I have ever seen, every gun sucked except for the Maven Auto which I didn’t figure out how to use till later seasons (maven auto is one of the best shotguns ever)
I ended up quitting around the wilds season it’s sucked so bad that I quit and didn’t play again till chapter 5 I may have missed out but if it was bad I didn’t wanna play it chapter 4 season one me and my friends started playing fortnite again like a lot ( I wasn’t the biggest fan of chrome season playable but ehhh) then when season 2 came around i was blown away we kept playing then at the end they stoped and I tried to like wilds PHYSICALLY impossible

I've been playing since like Ch1 Season 3 and it took me until Chapter 4 S1 to actually like the game and consider myself a fan. And i think Fortnite MEGA (CH4 S2) was the literal best season ever.
MEGA had like the most consistently fire battle pass I've ever seen (not even accounting for the attack on titan stuff because i personally don't care about that) It added the high risk high reward 'Loot Island' and an entire section of the map that didn't mess with the flow of the game and didn't detract from the rest of the map, and was gorgeous to look at and full of color (mind you, i play on Nintendo switch) So many overpowered guns and items were added like the kinetic blade, Slurp Juice, Pulse Rifle, Heavy Sniper, and the most fun traversal the game has ever seen due to the Cars, Bikes, Grind Rails, Geysers, Web Slingers and ODM Gear being in the game at the same time. It never felt like something was overpowered because almost everything was overpowered and easy to get your hands on. It was as if fortnite had turned into a fun treasure hunt with enemies getting in your way. It was all perfect in my opinion, and im unsure any season will live up to the amount of fun i was having with my friends.
That being said, i f*cking hated season 3, and i missed out on season 4 so idk maybe the rest of the chapter sucked

As someone who has memories of joining in c3s1 and using the MK7, the alpha really doesn't hit the same. It's still good, but why wouldn't they just add back the original gun?

Came back to Fortnite after years when the OG Season rumours started, I played a little bit of this chapter and god it was awful 😭
Hot take. Ch4 s3 was better than ch4s4. Wilds had the mammoth pistol, repeater rifle, the jjk collab was amazing, the jungle had plenty of mats and loot, the mud was interesting the first half of the season, I really don’t care about mobility, and I enjoyed this meta a bit more than the s4 meta which felt boring to me.

I found the map bad, not because of the size but because of the terrain. It was broken and not so good to take a walk or drive through it (I know it was for lore purposes but idc)

Why are you guys saying that wilds had no movement at all? We have dirt bikes, futuristic motorcycles, raptors statues that can rift you, mud, trucks, cars, grind rails, bounce plants and there was a glider Redeploy augment. So I don't get why people are complaining that there was no mobility whatsoever, because it clearly there. You just don't make use of the mobility you have. There doesn't need to be an entirely new item for movement. There was the run n gun smg exotic as well which gives you the slap effect

I started playing at chapter 4 so I personally like this chapter. Season 1 was great and season 2 was my favorite. Season 4 was kinda mid
Chapter 4 s1 started off great and so did season 2 the jungle biome looked horrible on the map and the removal of my favorite poi on the map made season 3 and 4 feel incredibly repetitive
Chapter 4 season 1 is my favorite seasons ever and literally the only season that I've ever enjoyed in chapter 4. Maybe it was not perfect, but it was fun, tho. Hammers are the best.
Chapter 4 season 2 is great, but overtime it gotten repetitive and I didn't like lootpool that much. Kinetic blades are alright.
Chapter 4 season 3 is terrible, but half of the lootpool is amazing.
The repeater rifle, mk- Alpha, Flapjack ar, and my favorite of all mammoth pistol. Pretty much it about this season. The rest is history.
Chapter 4 season 4.......I did not enjoy this season...like at all. It's not a bad season, but it just was not fun for me.
Season OG is not best, but a relief and breath of fresh air. Even tho it was sweaty at times, but most of my gameplay feels way smooth and relaxing to play. Season OG was a break from mythic weapons, bosses, npcs, and the floating loot island that appears in every endgame.
Crazy thing is that I've barely played chapter 1, skipped the entire of Chapter 2, and Fully played chapter 3 & 4. Yep, I miss all of those amazing live events in chapter 1 & 2 because I was playing other games like GTA 5, and Destiny 2 during that time.
Overally, Chapter 4 was alright, it's not the best, but it's alright. 7/10

To be honest No chapter is bad, epic perfectly made these chapters fun with the but some seasons are hated like Primal but i loved every chapter, but this is my opinion i respect every opinion so chaoter 4 isnt bad
this is me, no chapter is bad and theres no horrible season. yes each season has its flaws but theres nothing too bad to make it horrible.
I liked Chapter 4, even Season 3. But unlike others I quit playing fortnite in any competitive stance and just enjoyed the graphics in Bot Lobbies, enjoying the game as much as I could. (DMRs were trash)
Yes, its not what fortnite BR is about, but catching up to the skill was something so annoying I just gave up. Dont really feel like fighting guys that build a fucking castle in 2 seconds.
first I liked faulty splits but they removed them so I liked anvil square but they also removed them so I was already forced to use the citadel but as we know they remove that and I really hated this map and graphics from the beginning but I removed them to kill me even more by removing things which I like

I actually started in chapter 4 so for me its cool and stuff especially with doomguy as a skin which is why i started but i do think that og fortnite is much better same with chapter 5 its better than chapter 4.

I actually like it except season 3, I reached level 450 on all the seasons except wilds I reached level 200 and stopped playing

Me personally I like season 2 chapter 4 the best because I really do love the Japanese culture and and I do love anime lot so but that's just me, plus the odeon gear was probably the most broken mythic there was. Did he talk about the clubs though. Cus season 3 is pretty good if you factor in the fact that they Jujutsu kaisen, and the mammoth pistol, the most busted pistol in the fortnite, you can literally use it as a shotgun.
SHOOT i forgot about the mammoth pistol. It's not bad, just lacked good rotation and the jungle got stale. I don't really have anything against its loot pool

Unpopular opinion I loved chapter 4 fun gameplay mythic havocs good map wilds sucked but I loved mega or slappy

I don't really consider it to be seeing as how it has a completely different map and everything.
