    Liver detoxification is a common practice in the natural health community. Everywhere you look there are home remedies, detox kits, liver cleanse programs, and supplements to support liver function.
    The real question is - Do you need all of those things? The simple answer is no. The liver can detoxify and take care of itself provided you take care of yourself. Most people suffer with fatty liver or gallbladder issues because they eat poorly.
    Several factors are involved with this.
    1. Processed foods create hormonal imbalance in insulin and cortisol leading to liver problems.
    2. High carb diet elevate insulin and disrupt liver function.
    3. Gluten exposure for many causes an autoimmune response leading to hepatitis or liver inflammation.
    4. Nutritional deficiency leading to fatty liver

    MD diagnosed me.as having NAFLD and having high cholesterol (250) and put me on statins. I asked what food and drinks should I avoid to be better. He said "None. Just live a happy normal life. Keep taking statins for life to live for 20 years. If you don't 10 years."
    It sounded very counterintuitive and dumb knowing statins causes liver problems.
    I made my research. Reduced my sugary drinks from 1-2 cans/day to 1-2/month, switched to Himalayan salt and virgin coconut oil, turmeric/ginger tea at night and supplements Magnesium, Vit. C and fish oil. And oh boy my wife and I are healthier and are no longer on statins and blood thinners for over a year now

      @Taiwo Omotosho I use himalayan or 100% sea salt in all my cooking and did the best we can to minimize eating anything with iodized table salt which means very limited fast food or processed food.
      I cook my eggs on virgin coconut oil everyday or add a tablespoon to my morning coffee ang to my ginger tea at night. It really helped a lot in regaining cognitive function and memory. I take the fish oil at night times. I didnt know if it increased my triglycerides. im not worried about that.

    • @erwin021777
      @erwin021777 Před 3 lety +8

      @@paulac1762 for me it took about 2 months to regain cognitive function and memory. I was eating 2-3 eggs cooked on virgin coconut oil everyday. About a year to feel total wellness. What i mean by that is I have no high blood or diabetes, no more tendonitis or arthritic pain in my hands, and That is also when I felt I have more stamina and energy when I play sports,
      As for my wife it took her about 6 months to finally wean off her blood thinners. She was skeptical of my research and scared to disobey her doctor. 2 of her MDs put her on a no salt diet. Imagine that. Eating just for the sake of eating and not enjoying her food. So I was able to convince to her to gradually reduce her blood thinners as we add magnesium glycinate, vitamin C and fish oil in our regimen. Little by little she started feeling better and gained confidence in what we're doing. She is so determined to stop her meds and she really disciplined herself to not eat any fast food, processed food or drink any sugary drinks.
      It's a lot of work because we have to eat home cooked meals everyday but its worth it. She's now enjoying her meals and able to eat a little pizza, or soda or pastries once in a while.

Also eat OMAD - one meal a day, you need to train yourself to do it. Basically eat like your ancestors ate, animal fat, meat, eggs, butter, fermented milk and some local and seasonal fruits.
