Be cautious... Re: All grains. It wasn't until much later in life when I was having difficulty that I considered abstaining from all grains that are realized what an enormous profound beneficial impact it had on me. Suffering with a traumatic brain injury from an auto accident I never felt sober. Not one day of my life after that accident. Bizarre challenging experience I do not drink but that's the best analogy I can make. Grain-free and adding healthy fats Made a very market improvement. It did not cure me of my TBI but my blood sugar regulation improved so much and I imagine that if there was any any inflammation that went away.. So pretty much staying away from packaged foods and just eating with the good Lord made for us.

Im 33, and last month I finally figured out just intuitively by myself to cut everything but meat vegs eggs and cheese. I didn't know what to expect, I was just desperate because of fatigue and erectile dysfunction. I lost 3kg, lost extreeeeme dermatitis on my scalp that I suffered through WHOLE life, also face skin stopped peeling off. Most of my teeth are devastated, I spend enormous amounts on dentists. ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION IS GONE, I SUFFERED FOR 5 YEARS FROM IT FOR GODS SAKE. My ears are ringing all my life, I have migraines like twice a year. It goes without saying that I've spent numerous hours on various professionals and none were even close to pointing me in that direction. I had gallbladder problems and pain - gone. I had a bit of blood on my toilet paper. Fatigue is GONE, I feel stronger and more energetic than ever in my life and Im not even that young. And now Im watching this and my jaw drops because 90% of what he lists - I HAD THOSE and it PUZZLED me all this time...

I am 57 yo and I haven’t felt really well for the last 5 years and didn’t understand why. I was told I had gallstones and had my gall bladder removed 3 years ago, then I was told I have bile reflux and that was cause of so many of my symptoms. I have been tested for celiac by blood and biopsies multiple times over the years all negative every time. My father was diagnosed with Celiac at age 60 and died of lymphoma at age 70 as a result of having celiac so it was always at the back of my mind that I may one day have it. These were my symptoms , nausea every day, h/a’s most days, fatigue everyday, constipation often, vertigo occasionally , tinnitus all the time, neuropathy in my feet most days, depression, anxiety, brain fog, eczema , bloating, gas and vomiting on occasion.
The light bulb went off for me when I realized I ate something I had before and caused me to vomit on each occasion. I looked at the ingredients and wheat flour was the first ingredient !! From that day 2 weeks ago I went gluten free and I have already see some huge improvements. Nausea gone. Brain fog gone. Fatigue gone. My moods and anxiety improved, headaches gone, those were my main symptoms every day. I am gluten sensitive non celiac and relieved to know gluten is the cause finally!!! Thank you for this video, what an eye opener😮

I just found out by chance that I may be sensitive to gluten. I turned 51 and was a bread and biscuit addict. My blood pressure has been high since i was 25 yrs but my cholesterol was very low, baffling doctors. The 4 blood pressure meds barely managed to lower BP. Two weeks ago i decided to cut gluten ,milk and sugar out of my diet and to my surprise, my BP for the whole of this week is around 115/76 without taking my meds. Not even the 4 combinations of meds has been able to get close to that in years. 'We are what we eat ' it's no joke ! Today, my wife brought loads of muffins and bread home and I still haven't touched it yet. I'm loving this new challenge. I did not know that my high BP was because my body was constantly fighting the poison i was putting in my body.

Never had any idea!! Took me going on keto diet to find out. I ate low carb and very surprisingly felt worse. Started studying the ingredients in my food and saw that my low carb tortillas had like three different gluten ingredients in it. I thought to myself, "it can't be.." I went gluten-free, now going on week three, and the majority of my health issues I had no idea were tied to gluten are suddenly disappearing. Mind you some of these issues I have been dealing with for a long time
    1. Severe scalp dermatitis (5 years)
    2. Constipation issues (3 years)
    3. Joint pain in right shoulder (6 years)
    4. Strong underarm BO (3 years) - this one surprised me. Clinical strength deodorant didn't even work, and now I can go deodorant free for a day or two without an issue
    5. Foul Embarrassing gas
    6. Brain Fog, memory issues
    7. Undigested food during bowel movements.
My gut is better than it has been in a while. Hopefully, I will get better and better as I continue to go gluten-free. Healing takes time.

I've met with 2 gastroenterologists, had all the possible testing done and I don't have celiac disease. None of the doctors really took my talk of a possible gluten intolerance seriously and just said, that yeah, you can avoid gluten if that makes you feel better. This is not seen as a real diagnosable state and it's a problem. It basically ruined my life. I use to need 1000mg of IB twice a day for 6 days and many super ultra tampons but my last cycle I only took 600mg of IBUPROFEN two separate days (1200mg total for a 6 day cycle) when I ate 🍰 and I was good with a super tampon and needed less changing... I’ve been taking thyroid meds but I’m so tired that I can barely function. Joint pain, inflammation, weight gain. My doctors never once brought up gluten. I asked my doctor if I could be celiac and he all but laughed at me. Said it was impossible at my age(in my 30’s at the time, now 40). I’m not sure that I am celiac but I think at this point it’s pretty clear that a gluten sensitivity is probably involved. I wish more doctors understood how important food is. I have no information on family history on either side but I am trying to get to the bottom of this and I haven’t been myself for years. I took Metronidazole for a tooth ache and my life just turned over. My life was turned upside down overnight. I think I've had over 200 different symptoms, each one as horrible as the next. I thought I was going to die. Multiple panic attacks several times a day, the inability to get out of bed sometimes, severe anxiety, the inability to cope with noise, people, light and so on. Repeated discomfort. Blood pressure rises and falls. Extremely severe digestive problems with vertigo and dizziness. Cerebral fog, depersonalisation to the point where I no longer recognise myself or my loved ones. Attacks of chronic fatigue, migraines that just wanted to end, pain all over my body, hearing loss......ETC That was 4 years ago. Today, thanks to a radical change in my lifestyle thanks to naturopathy and functional medicine, I can see an improvement. I still have certain problems due to multiple intolerances and OCD. I've never managed to stop eating gluten and dairy products long enough, but I intend to get there. I think full recovery will come when I do. Thanks to all the functional doctors and naturopaths for their support and wonderful work.

I also expect no one told you, we are all mortal and therefore, we die. The med schools seem to have a problem with death. They see it as failure of the medical establishment......not exactly the same as allowing people to gracefully move on. Nope......none of that........

It’s nice to see doctors in this community as well. I know that y’all get into this profession because y’all care about helping people. I didn’t get into the medical field because I couldn’t live with myself if a patient died in my care or I gave wrong advice because I was misinformed. I consider you brave for trying to help and I know the human body is very complex and your field is growing faster every day. I don’t discount anything I hear from my doctor because sometimes the details I miss he catches. I also know that not all patients reveal everything that is wrong till it gets so bad they can’t function normally. My wake up call was tennis elbow that would not heal. It took me a year and a half to finally function normally again. I lost my job in the process and had physical therapy that was not really having a lot of effect on the pain. I was also aware of side effects of pain meds and was not wanting to go down that road. I knew plenty of people who developed a problem from them. I am a different case because of so many details that seem like nothing turn into something bigger later. I’m on my final year of college and my grades are better now than they were when I was in high school and I have more to juggle and older now. I also have family that suffers from similar issues as well. They saw the changes in my habits ( having more energy) my mom is a retired RN and she decided to try this. She has started to read “ No Grain No Pain” and she is starting to convert. She also wishes she would have known about this sooner as well. Her results so far consist of gradual weight loss and increased mobility. She is out of a wheelchair and walking with a walker. This was something her doctor said was impossible due to diabetic neuropathy. She just started conversation about 2 months ago and lost 56 pounds. Pandemic has been terrible on diets so it’s going slower than we all like but the results are staying stable.

Dr Osborne's work is pure gold! When I stopped wheat/gluten my life changed but, by this stage the damage was so severe, which causes complications! Still I'm seeing improvement everyday. Don't wait until it's an uphill journey; there's no harm in trying something different for a month, just to check!

I cut out wheat, barley and true 13 years ago, after 2 years of my gallbladder removal. I have had IBS since a teenager. The gf diet worked good until this year. Diarrhea one and odd. Wonder if the other grains that mimic gluten in wheat are now affecting me? Also with dairy mimicking gluten it could be that. Maybe an elimination diet next. Gluten sensitive not celiac.

You know your self, by removing gluten, that’s how I found out I was celiac. As soon as I slip up and eat gluten I’m so sick and can’t leave the house. It takes for ever removing gluten from my system. I’m buying the book. Dr Osbourne sure knows his stuff.

This was a fantastic video. Thank u it helped answer questions and many I never thought to even ask my Dr. I've had stomach. Issues ever since I was 8 yrs old. I've had tons of tests stays MRI cat scans etc... Very costly and recently very extensive tests even did the camera pill down the stomach. I have had all the symptoms of celiac and iron treatments and have swollen llymph nodes joint pain and colen issues. This Dr thinks I have glutin intolerance and unable to digest sugar in milk. He told me to try and go glutin free and see if it helps and cut down on milk or go dairy free. I only did it for about 30 days or so it helped a bit I didn't go back to Dr cuz he sounds unsure but didn't know it could take up to 6 months to really feel better I clearly didn't understand his diagnose. This was a great video.

Thanks for such an informative video. It reaffirms my faith to go gluten free. I hv hypothyroid since 25yrs now. May be that is also due to gluten.

Everyone thought I was crazy and had an eating disorder but I was just gluten sensitive the whole time. I had symptoms of IBS, irregular menses, migraines, a severely elevated liver enzyme (with no other explanation as a healthy 18 y/o woman), chronic fatigue and weight issues. It’s unbelievable what gluten can do to you.

My face often felt like I had a blow torch to it and the shooting pains were unbearable. The worse of this started after going GF and before going grain free. Thank you for all your help, Dr O.
