@@Lord_KillerBee That doesn't change the fact that how you raise a dog determines how they turn out. Yest Dobermans, rotties, German Shepards and pitties were all bred to be aggressive. Those are very well trained dobermans. Can't help but love them. Say what you want about Sykes, he loves his dogs. Purebred dobermans are expensive, then they have diamonds on their colors, the car has dobermans instead of a jaguar on the hood, and even his license plate is "Doberman". I have a doberman too and I share that level of love... I'm just about as broke as Fagin is though lol And Fagin has a gambling problem. Even after the mess with Sykes he gambles with Mr. Winston at the end, loses, backs out and even steals an apple from him. As an adult, I wished the dobermans would have eaten Fagin.
Either that or the money loaned could have been for a medical emergency or surgery for Fagin or one of his dogs. I always wondered how much Fagin borrowed from Sykes and what was it spent on since Fagin is poor??
Animation inconsistencies: 1:50 Dobermans get right in front of Fagin, with Dodger in between. 1:57-1:59 Dobermans tackle Fagin from the front, Dodger is no longer in between. 1:59 Dodger runs at the Dobermans like he's been several feet behind them. Fagin and Dobermans are positioned like they tackled him from the back instead of the front.
As a kid I would cry and refuse to watch the scene when Dodger fights Roscoe and DeSoto.. and as a 35 year old adult now I can really see why. I still get the same upset feeling and tears in my eyes when seeing one of the dogs bite and maul Dodger, eventually hearing and seeing Dodger cry and fall to the ground while Roscoe and DeSoto walk off like they did a good job. That was truly truly evil and unfair.

Bill Sykes is alongside Queen Grimhilde, Coachman, Horned King, Percival C McLeach, Judge Claude Frollo, Shan Yu, Scar, Commander Rourke, Hopper, Syndrome, Lotso and Judge Doom without a doubt Disney's darkest and most evil villains ever.
Imo i think Fagin should've had Francis or Einstein with him or both. Even though Einstein may be a bit dumb and Francis is a cultured dog a great dane and a bulldog can take on a Doberman
Both aren't naturally aggressive and Fagin genuinely loves his dogs, he prob knows that Dodger is the most comfortable standing his ground against the two dobermans trying to bully and psyche them out. Also I imagine Sykes would have only allowed Fagin to bring one dog just in case to keep the upper hand.
Something I always like to do when I’m watching any movie that involves a fight scene. Is I’ll switch out the characters from one character to another character just for the fun of it. If they EVER do a live-action remake of this film, Sykes should be played by Ray Liotta, and Roscoe and DeSoto should be voiced by Key and Peele.
I think they could since billy joel is still alive
That's what I was thinking or they could use Robert De Niro as Sykes
Ray Liotta died, so its gotta be someone else. Robert DeNiro would be more of a perfect fit.
Let's hope that never happens though.
Disney live action remakes are the laziest and most soulless films that they are currently making.
@@M_W_L_F
In addition, they only do remakes to Disney movies that are either part of the Renaissance (1989-1999) or during Walt Disney’s reign (1937-1967).
When Fagin was practicing his message to Sykes it reminds me of the grand Duke rehearsing his “Your majesty I see no point in burning about the bush” in Cinderella.
Still wondering how is this kid's cartoon with a mafia boss as a villain
What about Shark Tale? It had mob bosses.
@@stefantomasi4036 yea but kids didn't know that, he was a fucking shark
@@gabe.network3645And I was a kid when I first watched this movie back in the 90’s and it went over my head. I didn’t know that Bill Sykes was a mafia boss. I didn’t know what mafia was. All I know was that he’s a bad guy. And one of the best Disney villains imo.
@@stefantomasi4036
Slade from Teen Titans is also a dark and serious villain I know he's from DC but he still counts as a dangerous dark and serious villain.
My sister and I use to watch this all the time when we were younger
It looks Like a terrifying place.
Fucking execution room and he’s a scariest salesman
Now that I’m older, I shudder when Sikes mentions cement shoes on the phone
0:49 Me when I tried to open the door
Lol!!! 😂 is that how you were doing that?
Oliver = Tiny Tim
Fagin = Bob Cratchit
Sykes = Ebenezer Scrooge
Tito = Ghost of Christmas Past
Einstein = Ghost of Christmas Present
Rita = Ghost of Christmas Future
2:16 Dodger may have been annoying with that yelp, but he did not deserve to be hurt anyway.
@Soul Of Darkness He kicked out Oliver towards the beginning of the film before the song called "Why Should I Worry?" WAS played.
@Soul Of Darkness At least Oliver hung in there facing these crazy dogs, but not before that said song was over with.
I'm just about as broke as Fagin is though lol
And Fagin has a gambling problem. Even after the mess with Sykes he gambles with Mr. Winston at the end, loses, backs out and even steals an apple from him. As an adult, I wished the dobermans would have eaten Fagin.
I wonder how much money he owed him
My theory was the boat he is sleeping on was from money Sykes loaned him. Just my theory though...
Either that or the money loaned could have been for a medical emergency or surgery for Fagin or one of his dogs. I always wondered how much Fagin borrowed from Sykes and what was it spent on since Fagin is poor??
1:55 Fagin you don't got the Infinity Stones
Dodger is badass he face them both
Animation inconsistencies:
1:50 Dobermans get right in front of Fagin, with Dodger in between.
1:57-1:59 Dobermans tackle Fagin from the front, Dodger is no longer in between.
1:59 Dodger runs at the Dobermans like he's been several feet behind them. Fagin and Dobermans are positioned like they tackled him from the back instead of the front.
This man literally owns some really cool breeds of dogs. He even has a Great Dane, like who just get’s blessed with a Great Dane lol
R.I.P. Dom DeLuise Richard Mulligan and Robert Loggia
Not so fast, sir. Aren’t you forgetting something?
Roscoe Lee Browne (the voice of Francis) passed away as well.
AND now taurean blacque. The voice of roscoe
Robert Loggia did a good job as Sykes but Jack Nicholson would had been good as well
I agree
Or Tim Curry.
@@emilydawson2553
Or Ron Perlman
@@katelynthewhitewerewolf6376 yeah.
@@emilydawson2553
Yeah he was Slade in Teen Titans and he totally nailed it and Slade was a dark dangerous and serious villain in Teen Titans.
If Rita, Tito, Francis and Einstein had been there, the abusive Dobermans would be dead.
The criminal Sykes
As a kid I would cry and refuse to watch the scene when Dodger fights Roscoe and DeSoto.. and as a 35 year old adult now I can really see why. I still get the same upset feeling and tears in my eyes when seeing one of the dogs bite and maul Dodger, eventually hearing and seeing Dodger cry and fall to the ground while Roscoe and DeSoto walk off like they did a good job. That was truly truly evil and unfair.
If Dolly was in debt 2:28 to 2:52 Sykes:…(Evil Chuckles)…I’m proud of you Dolly yes your starting to think big. You’ve got 12 hours and Dolly…(Evilly Smokes)…this is your last chance 😈.
well now that was certainly was quite the rigorous and smarting also what a barbaric scene indeed.
0:52 I said push!
Sykes is drawn and animated so much like Ratigan with a bit of Clayton.
Dodger was outnumbered 2 to 1, that's not fair.
"Whaddaya mean? You start with the knuckles!"
"Ah! Fagin! Do come in, I'll be right with you."
Imagine if pango(101 dalmatians)or tramp(from lady and the tramp)fought against the two dobermans, I have a feeling the fight would end like what happened to dodger.
Against 1 they have better chances by separate. Together, Pongo and Tramp would have beaten the Dobermans
Sykes is one remarkable Disney villain. When he tells faun this is his last chance I get that feeling in my spine Sykes will get his final wish .
Bill Sykes is alongside Queen Grimhilde, Coachman, Horned King, Percival C McLeach, Judge Claude Frollo, Shan Yu, Scar, Commander Rourke, Hopper, Syndrome, Lotso and Judge Doom without a doubt Disney's darkest and most evil villains ever.
Oliver & company- Roscoe and DeSoto my favorite Disney villains
From adriana Parker
I don’t care about them 2. Dark Villains will make me insecure
Imo i think Fagin should've had Francis or Einstein with him or both. Even though Einstein may be a bit dumb and Francis is a cultured dog a great dane and a bulldog can take on a Doberman
sorry but i think he should have had RITA
Both aren't naturally aggressive and Fagin genuinely loves his dogs, he prob knows that Dodger is the most comfortable standing his ground against the two dobermans trying to bully and psyche them out. Also I imagine Sykes would have only allowed Fagin to bring one dog just in case to keep the upper hand.
Geez, Disney made a animated movie that looks like it could be slapped with a hard R due to its surealism of reailty and not some fairtale world.
Something I always like to do when I’m watching any movie that involves a fight scene. Is I’ll switch out the characters from one character to another character just for the fun of it. Just to see how it would play out.
So with this scene for instance, I’ll imagine Dodger being switched out for other Disney male dogs. Such as Pongo, Tramp or adult Copper.
I’ll even think of a cat version of this scene. But with Thomas from The Aristocats and the siamese cats from lady and the tramp.
