Cleaning a Spark Arrestor on a 2019 Africa Twin

Took apart my spark arrestor after about 11k miles to inspect and clean it. I show the steps you need to take and how not to break bolts in the process.

I did this 2 days ago on my 2017 AT DCT with 3700 miles and I broke 2 screws on one of the pipes. I stopped the second one because it was more difficult to remove. I put it back with just the one screw for now. I think if I try to remove the other pipe more bolts will be broken. For the record, there was almost no dirt in the spark arrest.

what are you going to do about that broken bolt? i did the same thing

Ignored it. The other two keep it tight.
