Man I really have to give you kudos because what you described took a lot of guts to do. A lot of people wouldn’t admit that and a lot of people wouldn’t say that on video. I honestly think your on the right track with your thoughts/methods on quarantining. Ive noticed plants and fish travel in kind of the same way, it stresses them out. Its the same for us when we move houses/jobs/countries, theres always an acclimation process. Wish more fish shops would adopt this approach.

I think you are making a correct decision able opening more to the public in your retail business. I am sure you will be very successful in this endeavor. The CZcams channel is a huge plus for this. It is a shame that I live in the United States or I would gladly buy from you 😢.
I'm moving over to heritage park in october from perth and can not wait to visit the store!!! the fact you make sure that the fish you get in are actually health and quarantined for a time before being sold is great, massive difference between the big pet stores right there...
With my Platty’s, I would put a pinch of Salt, for Salt Water tanks, and it seemed to help with any shock! I had the Sail Fin/Moon Fin Black & White Mollies. I would cross breed them, and what was Great, the Pet Store I got them from, would take the Babies back, and I would get my Fish Food for 2 Months! The mixed colors sold faster than the Black or White Mollies. You have me missing doing this!
Can you make a video about how it's like owning a fish store, how you started, and eventually opening up to the public. Also advice as far as business wise and requirements. I live in Las Vegas, and there's very little LFS here. The potential is huge here!
I’m in NJ and there’s no LFS in my area either. The ones that I know about are about an hour away. I wish I had a good LFS.

Good fish shops around here in The Netherlands also quarantine their fish inside the shop. I think this also shows the customer the shop quarantines their new fish to try to guarantee quality and good health.
Do you have examples of stores that do that? I drive around the country to visit a lot of them, havent seen any that do so yet but would love to visit those

Yeah ur prices are absolutely nuts in Australia! We pay a few dollars for a tetra. U guys charge the price of a discus for them lol
The ornate tetras, they look like candy canes are they completely different and just white with white tips

Im just getting started with my tanks. I have planaria in my tank and i was about to purchase the no planaria you had shown to get rid of it. Is it still ok to put it in a tank that has newly like 1 week old new hatched shrimp in it?
Its a big pivot but I think it will pay off, heaps of times I've been to get my fish from your store, but I was after more 'regulation' breeds.

Sup man, I am a eastern cape beginner 90L aquarium keeper, I have got a few neon's, a bristlenose pleco, and three glow danios. I also have a 10gal tank that I want to keep shrimp in. I want to get your advise on what you think a good centerpiece fish would be for in my 90L community tank, as I am planning on moving my neon's and danios to my 10gal so that I can either keep harlequin's or dwarf rainbows in the 90L.
It's been too long since I've been into a fish shop that looks as good as yours.
