I love Rhode Island clam chowder. You get more of the clam flavor than you do with New England and Manhattan. All though I do love all of them.

well, Dear we old bay R.I. timers cooked the Onions in smoked pork any kind proportionate to Chowder made. Not a butterball or green salad ?

I am a pescatarian so I love clear chowder however do not want to add pork to the base. Can you come up with a recipe for me without bacon which will be good tasting
It’s good leaving out the bacon, go for it!
