Editing is impeccable on this one.
Best how-to video of all time. Concise, well edited, well filmed and thorough details. Well done. Those bars make the bike look so good (and put more need bodyweight forward over that light front end) that I wouldn't care about anymore mods (after the tail tidy and even that still looks good.
love the editing, keep it up! Just got my 700 two days ago
Ivan Flores thank you 🙏🏼
nice, looking forward to more vids
Might pick up an XSR so I'm keen for more videos about it
Alex Rodriguez awesome I’ll definitely be uploading more as i upgrade the bike thanks for watching
Yea those look way cooler than the originals
Desert Wolf!!!!! Excellent video brother.. All the lazy dudes installing new bars NEVER drill the damn holes!!! Thanks for this video and the awesome shooting and camera work!! Your channel will blow up soon.. Keep these proper videos coming bro - Joey (Las Vegas)
awesome video THANKYOU!
If you use the correct spanner and not vice gripes you dont need to put tape around the part to undo it..
Excellent job.
appreciate that
Your work is amazing.is the new bar wider than the stock? I want to install a handlebar on the xsr125
How did you get the two brackets for the crossbar off the new bars cleanly?
just hear to admire the bike lol thinking about picking one up next year. btw, which boots are those? are those your riding boots?
AJ awesome ! They’re military boots the brand is garmont i use them on occasion to ride for sure . Solid boot
Hi, it looks good, got one myself. I did notice you didn't put the bar end weights back on, has that made a difference to the feedback through the bars?
I haven’t felt a difference still really stable and easy to maneuver
@@desertwolves9485 thanks Buddy, keep it shiny side up. 👍🍻
I tried everything but couldn’t unscrew the bar ends. I felt like I was going to break something. What am I doing wrong?
couple questions - when removing the clutch(left) grip - would soapy water also make removal easier once the screwdrivers are in? and for the mirrors, why not use the correct metric size open end wrench instead of a vice grip pliers?
I haven’t tried but it’s worth a shot, and i had limited tools that day 😀 the correct size wrench would have been better
Can I install the handlebar of the MT125 on an XSR125?
I like
Looks great. Those giant orange signals though. My God yamaha... Between those and the exhaust note on such a great bike. It's like the design team called in sick and a couple interns pulled the trigger on those two decisions. I dont get it.
does the handlebar hits the fuel tank?
Do the handlebars hit the gas tank at full lock?
Hi~
Did you have a modified throttle tube make you throttle cable set smooth?
I didn’t have to modify the tube the protapers fit right out of the box
vice grips?
Hi how tall are you? I am 182cm. Ive ordered the 900, hope the seat height is comfortable for my size.
Well….fucked this up. I broke the clutch handle housing, the part you struggled to get off and on. Any tips? Have it rigged to work on new bars, thinking of just limping it to the shop and have them repair my mistakes.
is the bar end on the throttle side reverse thread?
having trouble getting it off
Were you able to put the stock bar ends back on?
lexacost unfortunately no, you’d have to “tap” new ends for them to screw in. I’ve seen a few how to’s on that and doesn’t seem difficult.
Any reason you went to 17ft lbf on the torque? owners manual has 20ft lbf
Thanks for pointing that out, i couldn’t find those specs the first time i went through the manual 👍🏼
@@desertwolves9485 Yeah no worries! Great video though, made me confident enough to do my bars, they'd been sitting around waiting for me to give it a go. Thanks!
Andrew Holtham awesome 🙏🏼
dude you need to get rid of that awful stock exhaust
shuttze next upgrade 😉
@@desertwolves9485 i recommend arrow or 2 brothers ;) i personally have scorpion on mine and the difference vs stock is night and day !
