What I find about your tutorials that differ from many others is not just your creativity and eye for color, but the fact you SHOW mistakes and how you correct them! We all make mistakes and goof up otherwise nice pieces and it's so easy to just say "I can't do this" and toss it. Having the patience, perseverance, and to laugh about it and continue on is probably one of the most important keys to success. To learn from our "oops" moments and go on to produce a beautiful piece like this is indeed an inspiriation!

I had to watch this with the volume off because everyone's asleep. From what I gather reading the comment section, this was made in tribute to your mother? My heart really feels this. I recently lost my mother who was an artist and my best friend. We used to do projects similar to this. My earliest memories are us doing projects together. My mother died last May.
I understand how you feel, and how healing a project like this would feel. You did a beautiful job.
I was looking for some inspiration for a beautiful 100+ year old baker's hutch I found at a yard sale, yet you taught me a way to cope with my grief from losing my mother. Thank you.

Kacha, I have found when doing decoupage, to prevent ripping, just spray with clear coat before applying it. I hated all those wrinkles and using a light clear coat spray, it went on smoothly, no lines, no rips, no bubbles. I used to do switch plates, ceiling fan blades, etc. This can be used with wrapping paper too.

This dresser looks better than when it was new, it’s now art.

I got a dresser from the trash the other day and this is one of my all time favourite transformations of yours. I hope to copy it, but will try blending on a single piece of wood first. The dresser is in pretty bad shape. I had to cut off the feet to fit it into the car. Obviously, I have intention of selling it, as it is your design. It will go in my second bedroom. Thank you so much for your many inspirations. I never had any intention of using gold. My apartment is farmhouse style, but after watching all of your videos I have decided to make this bedroom elegant with lots of gold.😘❤️🙏

I couldn't imagine that the yellow color would work on it. Wow! Gorgeous.
