I need some help with these transfers, the wax is pulling the transfer off the painted surface & leaving gold specks all over the painted. But redesign with prima won't reply to emails & won't allow my posts on their Facebook page asking how to fix it

One thing I just realized is that I definitely need a rolling stool😂

I can also attest to the fact that transfers do not stick on waxy surfaces. I did forget about this just the other day and waxed my top of a desk and wanted to put a transfer on the top. So what I did was I let the wax dry completely lightly sanded it and then put a top coat of polyurethane let that dry and then put my transfer on and it works perfectly.

Do you choose the color for your piece first or do you choose the transfer and then have the color of the furniture go with the transfer?
