Mountain Biking in Tarifa! FOLLOW ME DOWN MTB

- Tarifa in Cadiz, Southern Spain is a windsurfing hot-spot, but in this vlog I take you mountain biking. See what the climb is like and have fun checking out the fast MTB downhill. I´m riding a Scott Genius 29er MTB and my husband Juan is riding a Trek Remedy 650b MTB.
There are plenty of singletrack trails, rocks and jumps mountain biking in Tarifa, here I show you one of the most popular routes from the very top of the mountain down to the beach.
Not many people would think of cycling when it comes to what to do in Tarifa, but as you will see, it´s pretty awesome! Fast, steep in some sections, a few small jumps but mostly natural.
It´s also a beautiful area with stunning views from Spain to Africa. I love finishing on the long sanddune beach in Tarifa, riding straight from the trail to the sea!!
But be warned, it is WINDY!!! If the wind is too strong or coming from the wrong direction, you might want to ride your MTB elsewhere!

Yeah! So good....but the wind is a REAL problem. I´ve gotta be careful I don´t go for a 50 min drive just to have to go home again if wind is stopping play :o
Look interesting. I am a DH Biker and will be in Tarifa during the Winter until April. I wonder if there are DH Tracks not so far away and if its worth to take my 180er Enduro Bike and/or DH Bike. If not, it will be a Kiteboarding Season only I guess. But that track looks promising. If its really wet and raining maybe a little more fun I assume.

I sort of circumnavigated the hill, cut through a forest, scratched my ankles an prokly things and came back through someone's land past their rather angry looking dog. Thankfully that bit was down

Oh no! But I make no secret of the fact that I hate technology and I haaaaate editing!!! I tried to have it put with subtitles, but they never appeared?!? And I don't own a mic :( Ah well....
And to be fair, the video is ABOUT it being windy. This is the windiest place in Europe 🤷
@@annaglowinski I get that Anna, but we need to be able to hear you clearly. Sitting watching a vid with excessive wind noise can be a miserable experience.
