- Founder of #FreeStellarBlade Movement Doxxed, Calls for Ban on Second Wind's Nick Calandra
Mark Kern, aka Grummz, the founder of the #FreeStellarBlade movement, has been doxxed. Grummz is calling for Second Wind co-founder and Editor-in-Chief Nick Calandra to be banned from X, CZcams, Discord, and Patreon for his involvement in the doxxing.
In a post on X, Grummz wrote, “I just got doxxed. My family has been doxxed. Second Wind and former EIC of Escapist, Nick Calandra @jnickjcal, has weaponized his Discord server and is encouraging his thousands of Patreon supporters to dox me. They did.”
He continued, “And unlike certain other journalists who don’t post receipts, I will. My addresses were posted, among other details about people they assume are me. Instead of banning the user who did so (and who later edited his post to ‘Nick’s Secret’ to obscure my address, but only after it was seen by thousands), Nick encouraged them to do more, and to avoid further TOS violations, asked that the information be sent to him in secret to avoid Discord disciplinary action. These users go unpunished by his moderation team. Instead, they are praised.”
Grummz also accused Calandra of stalking him, tweeting about him non-stop for nearly two months, and being so eager to "get him" that he was fooled by a supporter of Grummz into publishing a fake story. He stated, “There have been multiple, documented threats on my life, including cash bounties, and Nick is happy to enable these violent people and arm them with the information that could lead to violence against myself, my wife, and my children.”
Grummz called for X, CZcams, Patreon, and Discord to ban Calandra, stating, “I am calling on Discord, CZcams, Patreon, and X to permanently ban Nick Calandra and his weaponized Patreon and Discord server, as well as the users who have engaged in this violation of TOS. This has to stop.”
Kern's accusations highlight the seriousness of the situation, noting that thousands of users in Calandra's Discord now have his personal information and are attempting to dox members of his community as well. He also called out Calandra's hypocrisy, stating, “He calls me a grifter, but earns over $54,000 dollars a MONTH attacking me and enabling violence against me by egging on his community.”
Kern's campaign to get Stellar Blade uncensored has made him a target. Bounties have been placed on his head, with Twitch streamer Denims even raising the bounty to $30,000 while reacting to a video about Toneman’s death threat against Kern. Kern has called for a permanent suspension for Denims on Twitch and X, and an FBI investigation.
Calandra admitted to being fooled by a sting operation orchestrated by GigaBear, who sent him a fabricated story that Calandra published without verification. After being exposed, Calandra posted, “Welp fair enough. He seems to have got me on this. I’ll happily retract. The constant manipulation, and lying is hard to verify, and he faked an identity to get me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, hoping to help get his money back and he used that.”

They should ban him because the internet is a crazy some people think that harassing one group is ok, but when the other group does it there is consequences and repercussions be straight down the middle ban every one that does it.😊
Short answer, yes. No one deserves to be harassed for trying to bring normalcy back to video games.

Its all fun and games untill actual consequences follow untill restraining orders are filed and criminal charges are pressed all grumms needs to do is gather all the evidence they have so graciously provided with a smile on there faces of their criminal behavior and they wont be laughing anymore these journos are bullies and stalkers willing to put peoples safety at risk just because they have an opinion they dont like

I consider myself neutral in all of this, I've seen some things in both sides I agree and disagree hence why I don't pick a side but this is crossing a line that should never be crossed and proof that many people of one of the sides just don't believe in "we can agree to disgaree and still be cordial about things" train of thought, these people will force their opinion and ways of thinking, even before this I have seen many in that side of the argument as extremely dangerous to anyone that is not with them, sadly this is more proof of that, no need to go this far despite the disagreements

While I'm not advocating for it I am going to come and say it as someone who got targeted by a pronoun user a day of reckoning is coming for them and given how weak these people are they won't be able to help themselves to protect themselves and their loved ones. People have had enough.

These guys are making money of this but none of them are taking legal action. Ask yourself this...why hasn't Smash sued Mercante? Why hasn't Grummz done anything about the bounty they placed on his head, all they do is bitch but they dont take that extra step to at least protect their family.
I don't agree with the right, but at least, despite distasteful rhetoric, I don't see Melonie Mac or others pulling this stuff. I don't agree with what she says, but I will credit her at least she keeps this in moderation.
