Hello. Your vegetable garden is beautifully landscaped and perfect for growing plants! I would like to see a watermelon for one person. LOL. Wonderful Rusty's Garden! The hashtag #GOGETDIRTY2024 is a good idea. Thank you for showing me. Thank you my friend.
Thanks Tom, I jump got the bug to start a small garden this year. Nothing too big that would take a lot of work to maintain. Have a great weekend Buddy
Lloyd, You got a very good start on #gogetdirty2024... can't wait to watch those crops grow.. we are still waiting for the threat of frost here on the east coast before we can start dropping seeds or plants in the ground... lookin forward to watching everything grow...
Thank Noel, looking forward to seeing the garden. It’s autumn where your at right , so the veggies will be little different selection . Have a great weekend
Awesome start to the garden there Rusty!! Hope your garden produces well, and you harvest some big ol taters!! Where's the marigolds? heh!! *Have a good'nnn*
You are exactly right Gear, I have been so involved with the veggies I have left them out. No fear though I am going to get some Marigold seeds today Bud. Thanks and have a great weekend…Marigolds 🌼
Good stuff! I guess you are confident that you will not have any frost, here, we would not have beans, tomatoes or potatoes in the ground yet. Our 'local' tradition is to plant potatoes between St Joseph's day (19th March) and Good Friday.
I have always had potatoes in the ground by February 14th and onions shortly afterwards. I looked at the 30 day forecast and no more freezing temperatures are predicted for us but we will see. Thanks and have a great weekend
Nice set up. That's an old wash tub. Usually don't get anything in the ground here until mid-June, due to frost. Lost everything last year due to too much rain. Best to ya on the growing season.
Yes, we can start pretty soon some years. And this looks like one of them. Fingers crossed a frost doesn't spoil it for me. Thanks Pat and enjoy your weekend
Texas Doesn't Allow Me To Show Off My Garden!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂 But Yours Is Rocking!!! I Would Grow Potatoes For Sure!!! Along With Garlic And Onions!!! Love The Compass Statue In The Bird Bath!!! Looks Like It Might Be Hangable!!! Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!
Looking good Lloyd. Another 6 weeks for us here. I like the self watering system you got. I'm starting some seeds under lights next week. This will be my 3rd year. I'm still a rookie lol. I look forward in seeing the results you got. Have a good one 👍
I would have to hashtag me in the produce section at the store. LOL We used to do a big garden at my in-laws that are farmers. They laid it all out with their tractor but we have not done that in several years.
Hi Lloyd, it will probably be May before I can get anything out into ground. Very wet and soggy here at the moment. I need to get some seeds going in the greenhouse.
Thanks Doug, I wished we could get a little bit of your rain here. We are good now but the summer heat will be here before we know it. Have a great weekend
We have a very similar irrigation system in our raised beds. We have some cold weather stuff in the ground, but our last official frost day is May first so we have to be careful.
Like you say, you never know what the weather will bring. But fingers crossed I’m safe and I will get a jump on the heat of summer. Have a great weekend
How's she goin'? We're a ways away from planting up here!! Maybe another month and a half we'll be thinking about starting!! LOL I like your irrigation system. I had a 'soaker' hose system in our garden but the soaker hoses would clog up with algae from the water from the lake!! Take 'er easy!!
Lloyd your garden is clinically clean, looks awesome, like all your veggies
Thank Jan, I tried to plan it out and planted what I will be able to cook things on the grill. Thanks and have a great weekend
