Had a very productive potato harvest . They will be great on the grill or baked in the oven. Planting 3 okra varieties in their place and looking forward to see how they do. #GOGETDIRTY2024
My tatters are looking good, not ready to pull. Due to weather I had to start my garden 3 times! I used grow bags for my taters this year. Very nice tatter harvest Lloyd. Good luck with your OKRA plants
Thanks PAPA, 3rd time is the charm they say. Good luck with the potato bags. I’ve seen those but never used them. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out
Hard to beat a good tater salad Todd. I have seen real debates over mustered or mayo … apples or raisins. Can be a real comfort food to your own personal tastes. Have a great weekend
Nice garden layouts and even nicer, healthier plants Rusty. I guess one does not have to question the freshness when you know where the produce is coming from! Liked and shared.
Hard to beat the taste of fresh homegrown taters.... fried up with some onions... oh my! 👍🏻 The only way we eat okra is fried.... it’s my family’s favorite!
Hi Lloyd, nice early potato harvest. I've only just started to put out various seedlings into the outdoor cold frame. Temperatures are getting into the low 70's at last.
I planted the potatoes around the middle of February. Didn’t get any cold weather to stunt them. Okra likes hot weather so it’s going to do well this summer. Thanks Joseph
That garden is more my size. :) My sister and her husband bought 1600 plants for their garden. They will have several acres of sweet corn. They put out 300 tomato plants and I can't remember what else. Way more than I want to deal with. But they sell them. Garden looks good Lloyd
Hello. Harvest from gardening. Tomatoes, beans, carrots, onions, green peppers, jalapeños, etc. are growing well! Wow! The potatoes planted in mid-February are a bountiful harvest! You prepare the next crop. You will plant 3 types of okra! Your gardening is a success! (^_^)v Thank you for showing me. Thank you my friend.
How's she goin'? Holy crow, harvesting the spuds already! We haven't even gotten to the garden yet!! This weekend is usually when we would plant, but things like onion sets wouldn't go in till after the last frost in June. Nice harvest of spuds though! Your gardens are looking good. Take 'er easy!!
Harvesting spuds has always been one of my favorite garden activities
Thanks Matt, it is almost like an Easter egg hunt to see what treasures you get 🥔
Very nice Lloyd, I can't believe you harvesting already, time flies, your potatoes looks fantastic
The garden has produced very good this year. The weather has not been too hot and plenty of rain and sunshine. Thanks Jan

Lloyd, I am very impressed with your garden beds. Awesome system you have. Now you need to make some potato recipes 😅
That would be a great idea. I will have to work on that. Thanks Walter

Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!
You know that’s right Pat. Just can’t beat a good tater. You can boil it, bake it, fry it. Keep on Rocking and grinding it down
wow that is amazing so fast for the potatoes
The soil was good and loose. The potatoes grew easily in it. Thanks Dan
NICE!!!! Good thing those 9 band armadillos didn't dig those potatoes up for you....
If those armadillos get to the garden I will be having armadillo stew 🤣👍 Thanks Rick
Wow!! You are WAY ahead of us there!!! Nice garden!!!!
Thanks, I may expand the garden for next year. I’ve had really good luck with the tiny garden.

I had bigger gardens but never the big. The one I have produces enough for my needs. Thanks Gary and take care of
you are such a good gardener thanks for sharing
The garden is very small but really productive. Thanks and have a great weekend
that is so nice, there is not much better than fresh potatoes, we have the long beans too they usually grow about 18 inches
I have been disappointed in these long beans. They are supposed to be stringless but not so.
Wow, you are way ahead of us.
The weather has been great for a garden so far. Fingers crossed 🤞 this summer. Thanks Dan
nice potato harvest
Real happy how well they did. Thanks Dan

i used to put my okra seeds in ice cube trays back in iowa then plant the ice cubes and would get 100% germination
Very interesting idea, I will have to give that a try. Thanks
Good stuff Lloyd
Thanks Shawn, hope you are doing better my friend. 🙏
