- Had a very productive potato harvest . They will be great on the grill or baked in the oven. Planting 3 okra varieties in their place and looking forward to see how they do.

My tatters are looking good, not ready to pull. Due to weather I had to start my garden 3 times! I used grow bags for my taters this year. Very nice tatter harvest Lloyd. Good luck with your OKRA plants

Hard to beat a good tater salad Todd. I have seen real debates over mustered or mayo … apples or raisins. Can be a real comfort food to your own personal tastes. Have a great weekend

Hard to beat the taste of fresh homegrown taters.... fried up with some onions... oh my! 👍🏻 The only way we eat okra is fried.... it’s my family’s favorite!

Hi Lloyd, nice early potato harvest. I've only just started to put out various seedlings into the outdoor cold frame. Temperatures are getting into the low 70's at last.
It is going to be in the 90’s here next week. Fingers crossed it doesn’t get that hot. The weather has been perfect for a garden so far. Thanks Doug

I planted the potatoes around the middle of February. Didn’t get any cold weather to stunt them. Okra likes hot weather so it’s going to do well this summer. Thanks Joseph
That garden is more my size. :) My sister and her husband bought 1600 plants for their garden. They will have several acres of sweet corn. They put out 300 tomato plants and I can't remember what else. Way more than I want to deal with. But they sell them. Garden looks good Lloyd

that is so nice, there is not much better than fresh potatoes, we have the long beans too they usually grow about 18 inches
I have been disappointed in these long beans. They are supposed to be stringless but not so.

i used to put my okra seeds in ice cube trays back in iowa then plant the ice cubes and would get 100% germination

How's she goin'? Holy crow, harvesting the spuds already! We haven't even gotten to the garden yet!! This weekend is usually when we would plant, but things like onion sets wouldn't go in till after the last frost in June. Nice harvest of spuds though! Your gardens are looking good. Take 'er easy!!
