I work for Walmart in maintenance and I work on a lot of Value Shoppers between the 3 stores I work at and I have a couple MartCarts too, I like your tutorial and would like to see you put a new Amigo motor/brake assembly in sometime but I have done one so far. Also if you could talk about the back wheel axles, it seems like they come in different lengths depending on the version you have. I maintain 30 carts altogether at the 3 stores and I keep spare parts on the truck or at the stores, batteries, seat covers and switches, back wheels, a charger or two and some cables.

I have a value shopper that was abandoned by my local store. The brake assembly broke when I found it. Pulled it off and motor worked then brake basically exploded, write lead disconnected and I can't find a replacement. Can I bypass that part and make it move? Or how can I acquire a new brake?

I bought one of these and ripped out everything and hooked the motor up to a Optima yellow top battery.. I haven't really looked on how to get it to run in reverse.. do you happen to know what color wire it would normally be for reverse? Thanks BTW I'm gonna put a predator gas engine in it eventually lol
