I had Johnny West action figures from Sears as a kid with a covered wagon and Geronamo
Growing up in the '80s, that was before my time, but eventually I got some Johnny West horses and a bunch of accessories to use with 1/6 figures. Excellent horse mold that still holds up.

@@Chalor. haha, it's clearest when the camera is just facing Ryan from 1.45. There's a tall shelf to his right with a framed picture above with blue inside. Below the picture frame is a tall (ish) statue of a bald guy dress in black (Kingpin?) - Robin is next to him. As a DC fan with a Robin focus, I'm keen to find out what it is. Thanks for playing 'Where's Robin?'.

_[My one set of superhero pajamas as a kid was Robin's costume. It even had a little removable velcro cape. So I got a soft spot for them too; Dick Grayson in particular.]_
It'd be great if only I had a car again, I'd just go to the shop and make a video of grabbin' the statue and being like, "this one?" lol.
I'm 30 minutes away. It's still crazy that in circa '10 (which feels like last month), I was going to Ryan's basement 'warehouse' to make trades and _take forever_ picking out the best copy of figures; now he's got a huge brick and mortar store that's thriving.
I have so many big items I wanna unload at the shop ('cause man I need the space and money), but back to the whole no car thing, it *_really_* sucks!

AUDIO GUYS......TEST! Do a test prior to recording. Record the audio, play the audio back, adjust and repeat. Then write down your settings and a routine to check before each show. Ryan can't be the only person that sounds good. Travis was "tinny" and Andy could barely be heard.
Hi. Producer here. We do test. We do know what we are doing. Our audio card was corrupted and we lost the audio on episodes we filmed all at once. However, because of the built in radiances because we actually know what we are doing, we still have audio for the episodes. Thanks for understanding.

@@ToyFederationPodcastchannel hey Producer, previous comment was constructive criticism. I would argue that you have bigger problems than a corrupted card. This is the THIRD episode....in a row.....that had horrible audio. Again, if you would have tested prior to the cast, your corrupted card would have been uncovered, but your audience has listened to 3 shows with bad audio. I'm sorry if it struck a nerve, but come on man. We love listening to what these 3 fellows have to say and if I'm having to crank my audio just to hear Travis and Andy, then it gets annoying. Especially after the 3rd show. I've done audio for 30 years, so I understand criticism as well as the job you need to do. This is not a new show each week with new setups and new environments. It's literally the exact same every week. You can't rest on past laurels, you have to test all the time, especially when you open yourself up to the whole world.
Again, love the show, and I can't wait to see the improvement to the audio for future shows.

@@ToyFederationPodcastchannel I AM listening my friend, that's why I can comment! How would I have known that you record multiple episodes on the same day? Is that public knowledge? Is it advertised somewhere? So if you are recording multiple episodes, why aren't you checking the quality of the recording prior to recording a new one?
It's bonkos that you admit to allowing for a mistake to perpetuate itself. It's also very telling that you KNOW that you messed up. Take the advice and get better.
Stop with the back and forth. YOU aren't the focus of the podcast, The Toy Feds are. So please make them as audible as possible for THEIR audience.
Sounded fine to me... i just enjoy the passion and excitement these guys have for what they do.
Go back and listen to the first couple episodes. The audio quality was way better because we could hear the tabletop mics.

Oh, there definitely is an affinity for spacial awareness and packing efficiently. I'm the same way and always have been. It drives my wife crazy. There's an art to real world Tetris.

Godzilla Minus One was awesome! A+ movie. 12 million I believe was the total budget. Star Wars Acolyte had 180 million per episode? Quality much?
BraveStarr? Is it BraveStarr? Cool toys. I had one growing up. Each action figure came with little orange plastic crystals that were the space currency of that story and cartoon.
Thats what i was screaming at my monitor. I dont remember the galaxy ranger line though lol but theyre pretty cool looking toys too, after looking them up.
At that time, Tex Hex was my absolute favourite figure. And in House II, when grandpa's arch rival emerged from the table, I always thought of them as Tex Hex.
@@Chalor. for a minute there you reminded me of that comic "Tex Arcana" in the 1980's editions of the magazine Heavy Metal. Vampires and the Wild West if I remember correctly.
I call it spatially gifted. 😂 I got my start I the producing industry because no one could pack the truck as fast. 😂😂
In the 80's, the grocery store sold kids lunch size potatoes chips in a top Open box. If you turn the box Upside down there a Punchout western style Building you could fold together. I believe there were 6-7 different Buildings to collect. I don't remember the brand. Only got 1 or 2 before I lost interest.
Galaxy Rangers was a great cartoon !

I think your talking about the Hal Needham Stuntman sets. Came out during the 70s during the whole Smokey and the Bandit, car stunt movies era.
Its called "spacial recognition " i scored off the charts in that . The ability to see and use space even before you move the first item. Perfect gift for collectors, curating, storage, packing and moving.

My favorite joe is Iron Klaw from the extreme line. I grew up in the 90’s and the only joes I had were extreme. I’m probably the only person that likes that line even though I haven’t collected it.
Great work, really enjoy listening to you, glad you are keeping busy! I know you have someone producing/directing, can he do something about the guy on the left (in the blue shirt) always being quieter than the other two and hard to hear? I don't know if he speaks quietly, or if he just doesn't get close enough to his mic, but I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say it is every podcast.

All you need is 2-3 hours of sleep every night.. if you sleep too much you wake up tired because you over slept.. we sleep when we pass.. for now take power naps and make money because without money we can’t keep a roof over our heads and provide for our families.. we live in the U.S the land of the wealthy and where the poor don’t have a place.. the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.. the prices of everything is way to high I can barely keep groceries in my home.. in NYC I spent $100 on (2) sodas Pepsi and coke, bread, eggs, milk, sugar, flour, cheese, pasta and that’s it!!!!! I was blown away on how expensive it is right now.. my cousin lives in Vietnam and he told me his bills including rent, transportation, food, phone, activities, bills, gas etc is a bit over $700/month and he has a beautiful 3bedroom house.. $700 a month and he’s living a life of a king while over here I’m living pay check to paycheck stressed out smh and it’s only going to get worse..

The new Godzilla Minus One plot is good until the end. Godzilla himself was fantastic. The effects are outstanding. The people actors were too over the top though and the strained love story was too forced and took away from the main plot. The ending is unbelieveable bc of what happens earlier on when they encountered him out in the open ocean.
Anyone complaining about the sound is a f*ckin clown. Waaaay bigger stuff to care about. Im just stoked theyre doing it at all. Thanks for another great episode 🤙🏽

They help the podcaster better hear and understand what a guest is saying - without having to interrupt and ask them to repeat themselves.
