- Finally getting around to drawing in the first page of my newest sketchbook. its okay to skip the page if you don't know what to draw. First Page Anxiety is real. Especially when you buy an extra special sketchbook. Like everything else in this world, It gets easier the more you do! Don't let the fear of the first page stop you from trying. There will always be another 'first page' waiting for you in the future.

This is the first time in such a long time that I’ve watched Waffles since my best friend and I stopped talking over 4 months ago. She was the one who introduced me to waffles and I stopped watching her because it reminded me of my ex best friend. Today (my birthday) she texted me and told me happy birthday, I have realized that she has gotten over what happened between us and I have held onto it. I have decided to let go and watch whatever I want to watch. You got me through the time I was friends with her (she was really toxic), thank you Waffles.

I was trying to think of a comeback to the "why does your character has a beard? " but like who looks at a black spot under the chin of a character and think "yes, this must be indeed a beard. Not a stylistic choice that a lot of artists, and this one in special,do" like dude, are you okay?

You could re-do your "Drawing with cheap art supplies" / ""Drawing with Crayola" video that you did the previous 2 years and try to remake the same character but in your current art style! I think it would be a cool idea + Its a nice tradition even if it's similar to your "Draw This Again" series.

OMG, I really LOVED the ending, when during thr voiceover you realized you could still add stripes and got so excited and then actually did it while still doing the voiceover in the past and getting hyped over the stripes. I was grinning from ear to ear.

I want to say thank you for helping me when on art block. I usually just binge watch your videos, get inspired, and actually draw something I really love, instead of hate, so I don't get stuck in that phase where I don't do anything and end up not touching my sketchbook for weeks. How are your copics still white? I just bought some and they're already covered in ink. 😂
Use only a handful per drawing, then wipe after each use with a semi damp towel. Keeps thwn clean qimuite a bit longer. Also, keeping them in a stand case so they dont bump into each other.

Oni Wai Gacha Productions You can also use rubbing alcohol and a q-tip to get those stubborn inky stains on the cap off!
@@demonheart13 a stand case might not be the best way to do so since the ink can dry over time just by that, the best way to do is buy a separate compartments (like those from Rin) and put it horizontally.

Oh my goodness, this is EXACTLY what I needed today! New sketchbook anxiety is real (but oh so purdy), but your advice helped me so much. I'm so used to sketching with mechanical pencils, I forget the benefits of a nubby and get into the mindset of "Perfection right meow!" I want to get that visual of bold black lineart with pastel soft markers cuz it's such a cool technique. Thank you so much, Waffy! I needed to see it all from the beginning again. And yes, the struggle is real with trying to make things 3D and pop from the page
When someone asks why your character has a beard come back with "Why not?" it'll immediately confuse them and make it seem like they are shaming something they shouldn't be.
