- I recently finished my 22 Sketchbook! I can't believe it. That seems like a lot to me. I remember being so proud to finish my 1st sketchbook because I'd always start new ones without finishing them. Do you keep a sketchbook? if you don't, do you keep all your sketches or throw them away?

It's funny how i remember some of these because i watch all your videos and i love the videos and you have inspired me to draw. And something I learned markers don't really make a difference it depends on how good of an artist you are. And can't wait for your new sketches and sketch book!

I’ve never thrown a sketchbook away, I don’t think I ever could! It’s nice to look back to see how you’ve improved and it’s great to look for ideas
the illo sketchbook doesn't have the most pages, thats for sure. i think smaller sketchbooks helps feed my ego in a way that keeps it exciting. really long sketchbooks can feel like they last forever and sometimes you just need a fresh start. 💜
I do use a fairly big sketchbook and it does feel like it’s just dragging out sometimes 😂 I think I’ve been spending too much time on digital work recently, I need to get back to sketching and experimenting on actual paper!

When I look at my old drawings I can usually tell not only where I was drawing it but how I was feeling and what my life was like. It's like a window into my memories for me. Which is cool because I usually have bad memory

Thank you for saying "improvement". Many people are like "My art sucks", but as cheesy as it sounds, practice makes perfect (or improvement at least, but over time improvement leads to perfection).

Firstish I drew in other ones but never finished them
I'm 21 and I'm on my second. Don't beat yourself up for it. Some people start late. Some people are busy. Some people were raised in home environments where they were actively discouraged from drawing. Some draw far more casually. Some people draw smaller and thus can fit more drawings per sketchbook. (personally, I'm a mix of the second, third, and last).
There's nothing wrong about that.

I found some really cool fineliners the Pelican Stabilo 0.4. There are in many colors (more than 10) and have a unique texture. I think they will suit u since you have such colorful style. Don't know if there are only here in Greece but I hope you can find and test them out!

Thank you for sharing. At 45 years old I have no idea what number sketchbook I'm on. I don't even have most of them anymore. I know I went through a phase later high school, early college years where I couldn't stand to keep them so I would throw them out as soon as I filled them. My mom probably has a few that she rescued from the trash. I've also given them away or just misplaced them. I think it's awesome that you have all yours.

I’m actually only on my second sketchbook that I’ve ever filled completely, and it’s your art that’s really helping me grow! I’m starting around the same age that you did, so it gives me hope that maybe someday I can draw at a similar level that you do. I think my favorite types of vids on this channel are the sketchbook tours. These I think are the reasons.
1. I really love how I get to see all these finished pieces(and not finished ones aswell) that never made it into videos, and although I enjoy the whole one video one drawing thing. Seeing so many different styles ranging from mermaids to dark fantasy really sparks a few ideas.
2. They signify that a new sketchbook cover video will also be coming(one of my other favorite type of videos)
3.I like seeing wheelz drawn in multiple ways multiple times(shes so cute istg)
Your art is so beautiful, it keeps me inspired to improve each time i watch your videos!!!

I dont want to take any attention away from this AWESOME sketchbook, but can we talk about how absolutely adorable Rin's pup is cause I would def watch a 40 min video just of him doing anything!
So I started keeping sketchbooks since I was maybe 8 and I kept them for a long time. Till a friend from high school had some bad art habits about throwing away all her work and I adapted to that so I no longer have my old sketchbooks. Decided to start keeping sketchbooks again since I’ve gotten to college and I’m on number 4! Love this video!
