- a video walk through of my 1800 log cabin project that I started in 2020. a hand built log cabin all with my two hands. complete with loft, stone fireplace, primitive wood fired kitchen, pot belly stove, hard wood flooring that I milled myself.
Just can't help but feel quite at home during this walk through of your cabin, warm and comfortable. I, too, love the shotgun by the bed and the critters relaxing at home. What a great home you have made for yourself and how wonderful that you share it withe friends and family and also with us.....thank you 🙂🙂🙂

It's nice too know that you are enjoying your life and giving us a piece of it... Thank you very much... It is also infinitely good for my soul... And for many others from different countries... Yes, that is also my feeling about life.. . That I felt in myself as a child... The extraordinary, the warming and the simplest life and yet not rich in wealth... Wealth that envelops a life... And that so many feel the same... I am without being rich... With what my life has accompanied me in terms of experiences... whether bad or good... Happier... Because you don't need many friends... an understanding family... .And friends who are not always there, but when you need them, they are there and without anything in return...😊

Now that you’re construction part is finished would you consider honing in on some detailed items for us? For example, I loved the lighting video you did and the bed frame. Just a thought I wanted to pass along as a way that you can still contribute that I think would be well received. The pizza oven was great too!
But I would love to see more on the lanterns and lighting…early American lighting is so interesting.

The ceiling doesn't look insulated. I'd freeze my tail off...Love the kitty bed & all the woodstoves/fireplace. Great kitchen.

How is the garden doing? Ours is looking good, even though it's hot and dry in MT now. The fruit trees are loaded with apples, pears, plums, chokecherries and elderberries. Love your cabin, it will last another 100+ yrs now. Looking forward to your new videos.
All is going good with the garden. My trees are a bit young yet but I’m hoping for more from them next year

About 16x36 foot 23-24 feet tall. That is without the porch, porch is 8 feet deep
JERRY got a question i have a tank under the eave of my shed to catch water and mosquitos larvi take over what should i do. CJB..
The very best thing is a goldfish or three. They will eat them. Also I have found if you drop a piece of steel into the tank that mosquito larvae can’t live in the water that has the acid from the rust in it. You won’t even be able to see the rust, but it kills the larvae.

No, I never feel like it is a museum . Just like everyone’s home it gets dirty from time to time. You guys just don’t get to see that part. And thank you for the end of your comment!
