Thank you so much for producing this. I am doing MSc in Public Health and have found it incredibly useful at making sense of how to go about creating health policy interventions. Really pulls it all together in a way that's simple to follow. Thanks again!

I'm doing an assignment at the moment and am talking about the COM-B/BCW for part of it and this is the clearest explanation I've seen for how all the stages work and how the interventions work together! Thank you!

if i had watched this video initially I would have saved myself months of confusion. Fantastically explained. Thank you. I chose health psychology as a final year module and have struggled with the transfer of the models to real life intervention design. Thanks.

I noticed that between Stage 2A and 2B it went from identifying intervention functions that could be appropriate for the target behaviour, to specifying a type of intervention (mass media video) to apply in Stage 2B. So when you got to stage 2B you already have something in mind. Did you skip a step? i.e. identifying specific interventions you could potentially use and choosing the most appropriate? What if you don't know which specific intervention(s) you're going to use prior to this process and you're using the matrix in Stage 2 to try and come up with some ideas. Is there a list of various different specific interventions you could use? E.g. doorstepping campaign, social media campaign, visual prompts e.g. posters/flyers?

Very interesting. Thank you. What was the name of the book from which you took this model?
