- Colorado Bureau of Investigation says crews returned to Saguache County today to search the site where the remains of Suzanne Morphew were found.

Her tunnel vision wrecked this case. Hopefully they’ll get it back on track and I hope CBI takes over the investigation. Run the Unknown’s DNA already. They have the tech to find out who it belongs to. If they used genetic genealogy they would already know who it belongs to.
As I understand it, the charges were dropped because the judge wouldn't allow crucial evidence and the police decided to bide their time until a body was found or other evidence was revealed. Mr Morphew is far from off the hook and remains the main suspect in his wife's murder.

That’s your opinion. If you lived here or know anything about Colorado, then you’d know the distances between where he was in the Denver suburbs and where Salida is, and ultimately where she was found, those locations are very far apart.
Also guilty people don’t sue the county, and their girls’ support is unwavering….so there’s that.

I think she went on the bike ride and either someone accidentally hit her and panicked, or someone took her and did what they did.

I think they need to try to determine whether her remains were put there originally or moved to that site later on. I think forensics of the soil could probably reveal that.

I wonder the same thing. It's mindboggling that when law enforcement is looking for a missing person that they find more than what they were actually looking for. Sadly, this isn't the first time this has happened.

Its an area known as "The Boneyard" a common dumping ground for bodies over the years. Its a sparsely populated, desolate area. It doesn't appear that the bodies are from the same killer, but just a spot that is known to be a dump site.
Multiple. They’ve found a man and a woman recently, also currently looking for a missing woman. Idk if they searched that area or not. Probably tho.
Such a crazy case. A lot of circumstantial evidence pointing to him, but also some substantial evidence pointing away from him.

It’s obvious from news media images of the forensic excavator and surrounding landmarks the body disposal location is a few hundred feet from Interstate 17 at road R. Approximately 2.2 miles south of Moffat.
So a stranger got inside the house, no forced entry, got Suzanne, no sign of struggle, went to garage, took her bike and helmet but left her purse and other biking accessories, then drove west down the hill to throw her bike in the ravine, before driving north, then west to toss the helmet before turning around and heading back East then turning South to drive 46 miles to an open field to bury her in broad daylight? Really? If it was a sexual predator, where was he supposed to be raping her? Open field during the day instead of up in the mountains in a secluded area?
Exactly that. And also Barry just needed to lie about the times he went to bed and got up and somehow decided to put his phone into airplane mode for the first time ever at ground level etc.

There was no bike ride to the idiots that keep referring to that staged scene by Barry! Wasn't her good bike she always used, it was a parts bike, her sunglasses and water thingy she always wore on rides was locked in her car. Barry's phone data shows him at the fake bike scene (with no damage to the parts bike), read the affidavit there is 138 pages of evidence only pointing to Barry.
It would be an amazing miracle and blessed twist of fate for evidence to be found to implicate someone other than her husband. Their daughters and he deserve to be free of this public lynchmob, begin to find closure and mourn and honor the loss of Suzanne. This is the worst I've ever seen anyone treated in a case, particularly one where the person isn't even proven to be guilty of committing the crime. I can see running your mouths on Watts, or child predators, etc. but this family has been through enough. They can't even live normal lives. Those girls are just in their 20's. Can you imagine losing your entire youth to the whole world hating you and abusing you?? Suzanne would NOT want that, remember that.

From locals they said somewhere by mile marker 103 due South of Mosser, about 1/2 a football field from the road with that mile marker. Still, there is no need to stop and visit to disturb the site for anyone because it will add nothing to solve this case! meaning, they aren't going to find anything to solve the case most likely at this time. If the case goes unsolved 1+ years out, ... maybe!?

Depends what kind of cancer it was, age, fitness level, stage of chemo etc. There are stories of women that have done triathlons etc. whilst on chemo.
Let’s talk about Suzanne’s text messages and 2 yr affair with a married man and the father of 6 children.
The married man was cleared by LE but maybe LE made a mistake and he could again be a suspect. None of us knows who did it, although her husband sure looks guilty maybe it was someone else.
