I think Cyprus is definitely unerrated right now. The song grew on me, Andrew will be able to deliver these notes live, Cyprus always has great staging and not to forget he is the prince charming of this year 😁
I think Cyprus is gonna blow everyone in may!! I love this entry 🥰
He is the best looking guy ever too be on the show 😍😍😍😍😍
The staging for this song needs to tell a story that progresses because sonically the first minute is just repeated for the next two minutes. Overall I enjoy it and think it should qualify.
The song is not groundbreaking, but it has its strong moments and if he pulls them off live I think Cyprus is sailing into the final with this. Very handsome guy who can sing, that will appeal to people.
Love Cyprus this year. top 8 final result
My winner this year. ❤
Excellent work and beautiful song!!! Good luck Cyprus!!!
This has a lot of potential but he needs to deliver this live. I quite like the song and it's one of these ballads the uptempo fans that "just want a party" can enjoy too. So overall I think this is a qualifier
Cyprus did what they had to do. This suits him much better than Electrify did.
This is on my high rotation (from 🇦🇺)
The song was recorded in Sweden and the Official Video Clip was filmed in Greece.
i can't think of how hard is for her to wait until Loreen wins, so she could finally make that reaction video 😭
Actually it's a really nice track and I would love to see this in the final but it all depends on the live performance

I kinda hoped the chorus would’ve had some lyrics instead of being a sound only. But I’m intrigued by Cyprus’s change of direction!
I think it really will come down to the staging and vocals. If both are truly exceptional it could have an Australia 2016 type elevation but that is a big if of course
5:06 - Alesia: "I'm not worried, Cyprus are gonna have some good clothes."
Should they, though? 🤣😉🥳
I'm sorry for being such a mutt, but I couldn't resist. 😓
For some reason I am worried for the staging. P.S what a nice outro alesia
It's not the vocal I'm worried about here, it's the One Republic circa 2014 sound. Agree with the Romania thing, he's a really good performer/vocalist
If he can pull it off live (and I think, he can), he's definitely gonna qualify. Not a Top 10 contender, though.
I would rather have Cyprus in the final than Estonia. Estonian song is just too dark for this year. Cypriot song is a ballad, but it's much more light.
For three straight years the world is in a depressing state, and people need some escapism, but does that mean that no dark songs should advance for three years in a row? From an easy semi 2, I see an easy path for both Estonia and Cyprus to advance.
I honestly believe that the fandom is too harsh on it. They are acting like its the worst song of the year, while honestly is in the 3 strongest songs of semi final 2 so far. They are complaining that is basic, generic and mainstream, while 3 of the 5 songs in top 5 last year were mainstream and ‘radio friendly’ and they have ‘Tattoo’ up there which is written by the same writers, in the same genre and it is as strong and original as this one(I know its Loreen but we never know how Andrew will be live). Its 27th in the odds under Ireland, Poland and Croatia, like imagine if it was less stronger, it would be dead last in the odds. I believe thats its a song that will come ‘alive’ in the stage. That’s MY opinion(and a fact too). Great video Alesia and excited for your next reactions❤️
Couldn't agree more. A guy below said that Belgium deserves to qualify over this. Like.. in what universe?
If Hovig can come 5th in his semi in 2017, with again a pop song from Swidish producers, why this will struggle? And to be honest this has stronger vocals and more catchy rhythm than "Gravity".
I don't see too many people hating on it, I have seen a lot of positive comments and it currently sits just outside the top 10 on the ESC Scoreboard app
I could see Cyprus opening their semi.
I think its a nice song, I like the verses more than the chorus but thats really just a personal taste thing. I think Ela was a stronger song, but this /should/ be stronger live.
He is very cute
I'm shocked that you think we'll lose a good song in semi 2 as I believe that it's a horrible semi so far... there's very few good songs in that semi and Cyprus is one of the few. Semi 1 is the real bloodbath! Only Ireland is meh while every other song so far in it should qualify
I'm already calling it: Ireland might have nul pointe in SF1
What DOA means?
Dead on arrival
Okay (10000000000 times)
i think we might lose Latvia in semi 1 as well which is pretty loved
3:35 them intrusive thoughts winning
wdym, I am boy and I love Denmark's song 😭
Lol... it's a joke.

I'm a girl and I'm not really into it, lol. It doesn't have anything to do with gender, maybe teen pop songs (if we can call it such), are more associated with female listeners (not so much with genres like K Pop though, if this qualifies as something like that). This probably comes from a long time ago in the 1990s where people used to go to concert and were buying CDs in the record store and there was MTV where people would have song requests (eg a female calling in, saying they wanted to see that video or anchors saying that [female name] wants to see that video. Which (in my estimation) lead to boys not wanting to hear this music, bc it they probably thought it was too girly for them, idk. Now with YT, Spotify, and other music platforms you're more individual in your music consumption than in previous decades and so boys are less hesitant to hear K Pop dance pop, teen pop and stuff. And maybe nowadays, young boys don't care as much about what's manly and what's not anymore. It's just a guess. I don't know, everyone should like what they like, regardless of gender.
@@in_wino_veritas You are so sweet tho.
He will qualify because Greece & Australia will give him massive points.
100% Televoting semis... Will Australia be awake? Also, he only came 7th at AUS Decides.
Some Aussies will be awake for the semi, but Diaspora works differently in Australia. There are Europeans from every country in Europe living there, not just Cypriots.
Even without Greece and Australia, Cyprus is easily qualifying from semi 2, I mean cmon now....
Definitely 12 points from Greece and while I don't think, he'll win the Australian televote, he's probably getting lots of points of them as well as he's probably not a household name, but pretty well known there. Definitely better than the other contestants.
People thought NL would’ve voted for Stefania in 2021 and it never happened. Unless he’s a major celebrity, things like this don’t usually happen. Greece is 100% giving him 12 points, though.
The first time I listened to it was when the mv came out, and the mv is cringe tbh, it's cheap and ruined the song for me. But listening to it on Spotify, without all the distractions, was way better. This feels kinda generic and it needs a strong performance to tell a story and give it more depth, but it is one of the strongest songs we have this year. It gives me Azerbaijan 2019 vibes for some reason. He needs to deliver vocally tho.
I think that his voice is great and that he looks great but I find the lyrics and structure super generic and more than anything the stitching of the lyrics. For example "youcan'tbreakabrokenheart" just sounds so awkward to me put like that.
yeah this needs to stay in the semi-final. we already have SLOVENIA, LITHUANIA, ESTONIA, DENMARK, AUSTRALIA, ALBANIA, BELGIUM, ICELAND that deserve to qualify more + armenia & georgia are probably gonna deliver quality entries.
This is not staying in the semifinal if the vocal is good, I will tell you that right now. How anyone can say Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Albania, Belgium and Iceland are better than this I will never know
You lost me with Albania and Belgium. I mean Albania could qualify...but Belgium?!
I don’t think authentic I am sorry it’s like every other song which disappear
I really dislike the melody in this one ):
And because of that, I find it to be very annoying and repetitive
