- Xplus has reigned supreme for well over a decade when it comes to professionally produced screen accurate vinyl figure productions of some of the most famous Kaiju ever to come from Japan. But seemingly out of nowhere comes W-Dragon with their insane Godzilla 2000 to challenge Xplus for the vinyl throne.
In this video we tag team review, discuss, and compare the new W-Dragon Godzilla 2000 to the TOP THREE Xplus Godzilla 1999's/2000's. Is W-Dragon the Xplus killer? Or less of a contender and more of a pretender?
Godzilla Millenium was released in Japan in 1999 after the box office disappointment of the American produced Tristar Pictures Godzilla 1998. Featuring a newly designed Godzilla suit by Takao Okawara, (known as the MireGoji) this reboot of the Japanese series saw Godzilla facing off with an extraterrestrial UFO threat and an ever-evolving lifeform known as Orga, that threatens to duplicate and consume Godzilla and destroy the earth.

Godzilla 2000 Millennium is one of my Favorite G Movies and MireGoji is my Personal favorite iteration and I always Prefer the Japanese Version

Very cool unboxing & review. In transit can't wait love the magnetic tail action Genius love X-Plus have many in the line but the hairdryer tail action was always annoying to me with this in the mix totally antiquated now. I do have the X-Plus Gigantic Series 1999 .............can never have enough purple dorsal fin action!
I received the Xplus Super 30cm G1999 (the one created using a scan of the original restored suit) and Whoah boy! There is at least one more purple finned video heading your way!

The comparison review was s bit shocking. Wow W-Dragon came put of the gates running my copy is still in transit! Which Gigantic Godzillas are u willing to part with? Do u have original boxes? Very interested as it looks like u keep your collection Mint.
@@8474Starscream The Gigantic 2019 RIC and Burning Editions will be the first to go. Both have boxes and both are mint with tail stands. The RIC's tail would need some TLC with a hairdryer to get it to fit snuggly again as it has warped out of position over time so to the weight of it. I also have a 25cm Shin, Burning translucent 2019 RIC, and a Burning translucent 2019 Deforeal up for grabs. If you are interested in the never opened "mint in box" figures, I have the 25cm Godzilla 2021 RIC, Kong 2021, Yuji Sakai 30cm 1984, and a G2000 Deforeal all factory sealed in shippers. Hey I have an urgent issue that I need your help if you can. I just received my w-dragon Godzilla 2000 statue but I broke two of the fingers off the left hand. Literally had it for 2 days and it broke by accident. Any suggestions on fixing it? I got it from Sugo Toys in Australia (and I’m in the US), so I doubt they’ll replace it for free. Any tips? Thanks!
If it is a clean break my suggestion would be super glue. I doubt any company would provide a replacement for damage that occurred after shipping. How did it break? Did it fall off a shelf?
@@BatChainPuller I had a tower fan next to it, and it fell over. The chord got caught on the hand and broke two fingers clean off. I will try to fix with super glue. The company said they could replace it but I’d have to pay shipping to return this one, and it is going from the US to Australia and that would cost a fortune. So I’ll just fix it. Thanks for the help.
I would love to see a Godzilla figure that looks like a REAL actual lizard monster. When you see a real crocodile or alligator, it hits hard. We need a Godzilla where anyone would walk in a room and jump at how startling real Godzilla is. It's 2024, we've got computers and design tools to help artists. Make a real looking Godzilla. No toys!
My dream has always been a Godzilla figure with a ratcheted metal armature skeleton with a flexible foam filled body all wrapped up in a seamless rubber skin body. Well NOW they are starting to do something like this with silicone skin and it looks fantastic. Only a matter of time before they perfect the silicone and make it more durable.
@@BatChainPuller Great thoughts. This would make a great video on your channel. Where is silicone skin being used on figures?
The most recent one I saw was the 1/3rd scale Hulk from Queen Studio. The arms move at the elbow and its seamless. But there have been silicone skinned male and female 1/6th scale figures/dolls in Asian territories for years now.
@@BatChainPuller Mezco has that seamless skin '54 "with an internal skeleton armature" that's posable dropping soon and it's 1/250 (which is super attractive to me as a cross-era consistent scale enjoyer). If its sculpt was as film-accurate as the Sakais, or even the NECA, I'd be all over it. I'm still considering it.
The box is too big. Problem for storage down the line.
I bought the final wars version.
How do you like it? I passed initially, but I'm considering adding it to the collection after I sell off some of what I already have.
