Many years ago, we had a dog that went nuts every time we used the hose.
You couldn't touch the garden hose without her standing right in front of you, she was a true water dog, if there was a lake, she was in it, 14 years of wonderful companionship.
Is there anything better than watching rescue dogs letting go of all their worries and just enjoy life in the moment and play around like this.
Enjoying and living in the present moment is probably one of the greatest lessons we can learn from dogs, and animals in general.

It's crazy how effortlessly adorable animals can be. Humans have to work very hard and even then we mostly stop being cute when we become teenagers 😅

You people inspired me and also made me conscious of how miserable stray dogs are. Dogs need an owner (a good owner) to survive or have any quality of life. In my current living situation I can't take them home with me as much as I want to. A couple of days ago I started carrying canned dog food in my car and a disposable dish to at least feed them whenever I see one. I currently have a German Shepard but definitely my next dog is going to be adopted.
