- Howl Of A Dog rescuers found this homeless dog on side of a busy road and saved him right before a heavy rain storm. Please watch the rescue video of this sweet dog and help us find an adoptive family.
Mowgli is around 7-8 yrs old, but when he’s playing it feels almost like he’s just a small puppy, he’s such a funny little guy! He loves to go for walks and play with toys, but what he loves most is to take long naps in his comfy bed. More details about Mowgli are available here: www.howlofadog.org/mowgli/

Absolutely. I'm in my late twenties and broke down in tears when I lost my two pugs to old age. Even though I live in the city, the whole place just seems lonely without them, as it would if you lost any loved one.
It always makes me happy when I see them go to sleep after they're rescued. It is a huge emotional toll taken off them in that moment and realization they don't feel they need to be on high alert any more and can just relax.
My heart melted when he had his lil red bandana on and excitedly did his happy spin. That was really great. You all are awesome. Respect.

I put in a request to adopt Mowgli and bring him to the UK, but have been informed he’s been adopted by a German family - lost on a shoot out again 😃 I fell for little Mowgli like a lot of you did, but the most important thing is he’s found a loving family and wish them all the best together. I will not stop here and plan to make a lovely home for a rescued dog very soon - enjoy your new life Mowgli X

I've done this type of rescue before so the first thing I thought of was the road issue. With a few exceptions, most dogs bolt without looking. This was a well done intervention.

Even though this ended up a happy ending it kills me to see dogs or cats or any animal so sad and alone like he was in the beginning of this video. I tear up instantly and imagine my own animals alone in the wild with no food or compassion. God bless anyone who does something like this.

I don't think that every wild dog had undergone an abuse. Some dogs are just born like this. Maybe their parent dogs were abused but some simply just grew up without an owner.

Back in 2014,I was walking down the street and heard meowing. I was looking around and found a box with 4 baby kittens in a dumpster. Some people just don't care.
I took those kitties home and gave 3 away to people that love cats. I love cats and dogs equally. I kept my cat and name him Trump (he's an orange yellow). He always comes purring around me for attention and sometimes to nap with me. The best company

It's mandatory to microchip pet dogs there. But this poor thing doesn't even have that, so it's possible that he's always homeless or was abandoned at birth.

I don't think so, the dg was in far too good condition for it to have been living rough. It also approached new people without hesitation and had no problem having a leash put on. I'm convinced that he'd fairly recently just been abondoned in that layby and was simply confused and waiting for it's owners to return.
