It still is entertaining in lower leagues
It died when the classic no. 10 faded away, football is just pass the ball back, almost feels like a chess game. All of it's credit goes to pep. Maybe in the coming years, few talents from outside the europe can bring something to the game

After 18 years i still remember how my heart stopped when Gudjohnsen got that ball in 94 minute of the semifinal 2nd leg. And i remember how loud was Anfield that night. Most electric atmosphere i remember in Europe
So many hearts stopped beating, and then the ball just flew past Drogba whisker wide. Lots of nail biting moments in that semifinal 2nd leg.
Even Juventus hitting the post in each leg and Ac Milan shevchenko miss a great chance in exit time show’s that Liverpool name was just meant to be on the cup that year. what makes it even better is Liverpool got to keep the cup.
3 second half goals v Olympiacis to win,beating the Juve allstars ,beating the Chelsea team all over 2 legs ...then the Ac Milan globetrotters in the final again needing 3 to get to pen...was there to see them all apart from the final and was glad to witness it all ....great times under Rafa the gaffa
Finished 5th in the league that season and still won the CL against a team with the likes of Kaka and Cafu in there. Happy times ❤️👍 Well deserved!
