Glad you spelled it out, I graduated MPH from Sunderland 6 years ago and it was really a waste of my money. I strongly advise everybody not to take the program it's a total waste of time, especially for an immigrant. There are simply no jobs and its not lucrative, even the lecturers know that there are no jobs. I'm glad you are very honest with your analysis, You have to join one board or this or that omo. Let he who has ear hear

Thanks, the hard and real truth is that public health is not needed in UK or the Western world, public health is really really suited and need more in Africa. That's the reality. I am saying this from experience and as someone with the background. just get the knowledge in UK and move on to something else if you want to succeed generally. Godbless.

    Thanks for stating the fact👍👍
I think people can try Msc Biomedical science especially if their Bsc was in Medical laboratory science.
If you did not do Medical laboratory science but you have a science background you can still do Msc Biomedical science.
Although the process of hcpc registration for people in this category is different but doable.
They can ontact IBMS for how to go about it.

But base on the recent publication this April, public health is eligible for skilled worker and has a low minimum wage requirement.
I think after one year a lot has changed.
But it will still be good you have some care experience to benefit from health care opportunities

So last year December I got admission for health and social care and I had to defer to this year September and the school already reached out to me on what to do next but this evening I got admission for mph and I already skeptical about the program ..although the 3rd school I applied to for msc social work reached out too this evening..for some other documents…
It’s either I take social work (if dem later give me admission) or I just continue with health and social care management

I can't say much about health and social care but MPH and social work are highly competitive even UK bonafide citizens are complaining. T also heard the pay of Social work is on the low side not too low. Even the health and social care have similarities with public health. Do your diligent research and pray about it because to me the 3 courses look competitive in the western world. Are you from a social science background
