Yes, I really needed this! I'm working towards a Masters either in Public Health, Policy, and Epidemiology. I'm getting a Bachelors in Bioinformatics with a minor in Public Health but I love the intersection of health policy and health analytics. Is there more you would love to talk about?
@@kyabdul Discussing options for both intersections and options after my undergrad would be nice. I know there are different Masters, but looking at internships, work experiences and ways to make money after undergrad while getting experience would be great!
I'm a healthcare administration major and initially considered public health. I love how much my major intersects with public health as we take similar classes only difference is i take extra business courses. I do intend working in policy or health analytics as well
I understand that there are several areas of concentration in MPH such as epidemiology, health promotion etc. Which area of concentration did you do with your MPH?

I have a question and need some advice. Right now, Iâm getting my MPH, and Iâm unsure of what job field I should be in right now. I love the medical side of things and currently work in day surgery as a PCT, and I wonder in GI as a tech and in the lab. While also having PRN caregiver Jobs on the weekends. After my MPH, I want to go for my DrPH, and I want to ensure Iâm on the right track.

Working on my MPH now (unfortunately at Liberty, but itâs CEPH accredited so hey). Iâm currently a public health consultant, got the job because I was doing public health work in the Army and didnât even know it. I donât make 100k, but I do pretty well and work from home.

Iâm actually considering their graduate program for MPH in Global Health. I already work in the survey research field and Iâm interested in getting into international work so this stood out to me as a proper way to climb the ladder. How is the program so far?

Hello, I am physiotherapy graduate from India. I graduated in march 2020. Well I want to do MPH in UK. I will be applying for sep 2021 intake. I have 6 months intership experience only. I just want to know whether there will be any difficulties in finding job after graduation bcz I have less experience. And does universities helps in your placements.

I started my bachelor's in public health, but unfortunately got a little ill myself in the first semester and had to take a break. Now I'm unsure, if I should go back, because I already have a job in nursing and actually from what I've seen, there are not so many public health jobs, at least in Germany, where I live. I'm sorry to say that, but it seems to me as if you know a little of everything, but for each field there's already a professional, who knows much about it f.e. nutriotionists, lawyers, economists. Can someone, who works in the field tell a little about their experience? :) Would be a great help for me

We are almost the same. Mine was Electronic Communication Engineering 20 years ago. I don't like either. Now I am currently in Nursing major. I did not use my engineering cause it will be a waste cause it is very far from health field. It will only have few subjects like math, English, and the sciences will expired in 5 or 7 years mostly here in US. I did start from scratch. Now I am planning to shift to public health. I am 45 and a single mother of 3 children. You are still young. If public health is what you really want please do it. Follow what you really want in your life. You can do it! Good luck.
