  • When we first moved to Sasebo learning how to ride the local train was a huge goal of ours, so much though that our first day of freedom we hoped on the Sasebo line. Public transportation in japan is great and very reliable. Out here in Sasebo however it is less frequent than in the big cities, so we wanted to take the time to create a quick tutorial on how to ride the train in Japan. Thanks for watching!

    How did you know which stop to get off of?

      The easiest way is to use Google maps! It will track your whole trip for you. They also make announcements in the train in both English and Japanese of the name of each stop.

      @@kokodoko Thank you, I’ll try google. They definitely do not announce the stops in English in Sasebo
