HELP ME GROW
As some of you may have noticed, my current camera limitations hold back the visual quality of my videos. Upgrading to a new camera would allow me to create a more immersive and engaging experience for you, alongside the music itself.
Having a better camera would mean sharper visuals, smoother transitions, and the ability to capture the beauty of my synthesizers in detail. My goal is to raise 250 euro to purchase a camera that will significantly elevate the production quality of my videos.
To show your appreciation and help me reach this goal, you can contribute any amount. Every contribution, big or small, brings me closer to achieving this!
Thank you all for your incredible support! With your help, I can't wait to bring you even better content in the future. Donate here: ko-fi.com/electromagnetic

Great
I just got JT-4000 and Montron Delay as my first synthesizers ever, and here you are in my feed with this exact setup :) great demo!
Thanks! Stay inspired 😉 great choice to get started with synths!
I started out with a couple of volcas and a monotron delay way back when the first volcas came out.. got me hooked on hardware synths :)
Another great video. You seam to be able to pull out the most beautiful sounds from such simple set ups. Inspiring.
Wow, you were getting into Vangelis "Bladerunnner" soundtrack territory with your manipulation of the delay!
Thank you for showing this! I will check out the Korg, in particular too!
thanks for the feedback!
This is pure magic. I really thank you, because it's really beautiful
I grant you my subscription
hails from drauglur from germany
Thank you for the feedback and the sub! Cheers from Italy
love it!!
Great idea !! !! 👌👌🎧🎧Thanks for sharing !! 👍👍
You are welcome! Cheers
Fantastic !
Thanks
Wow, this is really great! It's amazing how you can use such basic gear to really create a textural soundscape that just draws the listener in - if you told me I was listening to Vangelis or Zimmer, I'd be tempted to believe it!
Thank you very much for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed. I'm constantly experimenting with minimal gear and programming to see how far we can go with the results. Cheers
Amazing what you can do with such cheap equipment!
I'll unironically love seeing you scoring a movie!
Thanks. I was thinking to experiment a bit with that. Let's see if I can come out with something interesting to share
Music starts at 5:06
Awesome
Thanks
Sounds lovely. I should try something similar with a probability based sequencer. And a different synth since I haven't got this one (yet).
Try it! Thanks for the feedback, cheers
Very cool, i was pretty hesitant to get the behringer mini synths, after see your video i just ordered a jt-4000, a monotron delay, and a pro vs mini, for good mesure ;)
They are all great synths in their own way, you'll enjoy for sure
Beh che dire? Stupendo!
A presto 👍
Grazie a te per il supporto!
👍👍👍
You can run everything in to this. You get gold nuggets for almost nothing.
Yes the Filter in the Monotron delay is analog. But isn't the PT 2399 a digital chip ? Still a very nice Video !
Thank you for your feedback. I'm not sure about all the technical details. What I really ment here is that the monotron delay helps to get that "analog lo-fi feeling" that I didn't find in the Behringer. Cheers
It's hard to classify as purely digital. While the PT2399 has a digital buffer/delay line for 1-bit sampling (44Kbit total) at a variable rate. There's a lot of analog blocks in that chip too for the input low-pass filter and output demodulator/filter. And there's a very simple analog oscillator (VCO) for driving the delay's rate inside the 2399 chip too.
It has a rather unique character that was probably not intentional, it was designed to be low-cost and consumer-grade for home karaoke systems. But you can get a real lofi sound out of it, and I think pedals and boxes like the Monotron Delay sounds pretty cool and musical.
What Boriscat said, I've seen a few analogue only pedal channels that do reveiw delay units built around the pt2399, for exactly those reasons, it may have a digital memory/resampling, but that's extremely small, it's beauty comes from the rest of the ic layout being analogue and the analogue circuit you put it into. I'm not alone in using multiple pt2399, and extending the delay time, massively to create, for intents and purposes, analogue, really dirty lofi delay, to the point of unintelligible repeats, due to the 1 bit sampling rate combine this with the great feedback characteristics, they become versatile analogue mouse generators, if you like that sort of thing.
can you do this without a DAW? Or is the DAW responsible for the drone in the background?
I'm using a daw to get the drone. There's no onboard sequencer on the machine, only thing you can do is playing the keyboard
This sounds like David Bowie’s Low album.
Well that's really not bad! XD cheers
