One of his mistakes was having those cake slices in vending machines. They are crap! Why he would tarnish his reputation and put that garbage out was not a wise business move. Total trash food!
The cakes he sells in Walmart are pretty to look at. However, they are dry as the desert and taste surprisingly bad.
He over extended himself imo. Had he stayed local to his original bakery, I think he would have been more successful. Extending he took away from the quality in his product
I loved the family working together and showing the family side of the business. You got to get to know that family.
Still watch reruns. I wish he would do a CZcams channel to let us still be part of his family.

I loved watching Cake Boss! Was so excited when i went to Vegas and saw his Restaurant and bakery in the Venetian but the line was super long for the bakery. I wasn't standing in the line that long and later saw the vending machine in our hotel with his cakes so i bought one! It was very pretty but very dry! I was very disappointed, but i still love The Cake Boss!!
So glad I got to take my grandsons to visit his shop in Hoboken in 2019. It was our first day of vacation and we loaded up on “goodies” that lasted the whole trip
Im all about the taste of a fine cake, I couldn’t care less about how fancy it looks.
My husband loved watching the cake boss. I have a picture of us in front of the store when we traveled to N .York. Great memory.
I love the series and the family interacting with one another. When we went to NY I was so stoked to taste his cakes from the bakery over there. I was super disappointed, but still liked the series.
He sold his cake slices last year in Ontaro, Canada via a vending machine for $12 per slice which is steep to me.
He is awesome. He had a lot of responsibility put on him at a young age when his father died, and took care of the family and loved his mother dearly. Buddy beautiful family man!!
Met him quickly at a restaurant down here in miami. Got a great photo of him with my kids they loved the Cake Boss and we still do. To each their own
We used to get our Cakes when it was just Carlo's, they were fresh and delicious! After he became famous, he was more interested in making money from the show than his original clientele. His products suffered and weren't as fresh anymore. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. Such a shame!!
A bakery without hair inside a net, whoever is there (owner manager, client, employees, thing that comes as rhe most secure obligations: hygiene and food security, loose hair around the area of confectioners work?!

I Love Cake Boss. I loved watching how they made those beautiful fantastic cakes.
I respect anyone being ambitious however he expanded into over 10 business ventures. That can drive anyone to disaster. Stick with one. Maybe once he gets through this, he will go back to his original love.
When fame goes up to your head and you feel superior to others, your fall will be hard.
When they opened up a Carlos Bakery in Dallas I was so excited!! Well that all changed when my family & I tasted various items! 🥴 I could not believe it!! The lobster tails tasted like some kind of chemical had fallen in the creamy center stuff!! Horrible!!🤮 Their cakes/cookies were so dry!! Plus a hair was baked into one of the cookies!!🤢 We couldn’t believe it!! I called to try to get a refund ($54)& I was told no & that I could take in the items we bought for an exchange. I even emailed pics of each item plus the hair!! This was so disappointing! After so many complaints & bad reviews they eventually closed the bakery down!!
He has literally taken over Las Vegas period. His cake machines are everywhere.
His cakes always looked overcooked, burnt with elaborate fondant and icing on top. Those cakes looked dry and burnt from the start.
The fall was them making terrible cakes. I went to a football game were we had private box seats and they had a cake from them and I was SOOO excited!!! Only to be extremely disappointed 🤦🏼♀️ It was dry and overly sweet and just not good, supermarket cake would have been better 😅 Took one bite and threw out the rest, not worth the calories!! 😂
Lisa's husband was the one that was a fire fighter... I don't remember that guy being married to one of the sisters.

I like his ambition and his lovely soul, he seemed he carried he burden and responsibility after his parents' death. I can see the love within his family, especially his sisters..
I enjoyed watching the tv show, but never tasted his cake since I live far away .
One thing I did not like and can't accept is the lack of hygiene in making the cakes !
All people who are working on the cake don't wear any gloves or head cover, they touch their face and nose while working on fondant , and they talk so closely to the cake wich spread dripple and germs.

Greed took over. The cakes were dry and horrible. The same dry packaged cakes were sold on Ubereats as if it was the bakery

I remember watching his show a lot. Was excited to try his bakery in Vegas…and sadly was disappointed in the flavor and quality. Still a cool show.

I stopped watching when it turned into a jackass style prank show and gave his irrelevant nephew his own theme song for some reason.
The culinary design and engineering feats were fascinating. The jersey shore remake where "the situation" hangs around a bakery interfering with the baking wasn't what I signed up for.

They had a stand alone store in our city. Was almost never busy. Way too expensive, and the cakes were super dry and tasteless

Her long hair loose in a kitchen does not show respect,his sister should kn.better ,i believe he sadly he believed his own publicity and he not responsible for the actions of nephew's behaviour or his brother's behaviour they where employees not his behaviour sadly family can bring you down i hope his business survives he not responsible for others
They made airplane cake for a ceremony at the AFB my husband was stationed at. He said it was an amazing cake. He didn’t get to eat any because he was too busy but said it looked really cool. I think it was even on an episode.
Now his smaller version cakes are sold in Walmart.
His cakes are extremely dry now. They were once very moist. God bless him and his family ABUNDANTLY.

There's a shop in São Paulo, Brazil, it's disgusting, specially because every Brazilian housewife can make delicious cakes by mind, so, charging so much for dry and tasteless cake is unforgivable
Carlos Cakes are expensive, one slice is $4 azt the local Walmarts.
ATM cakes nothing special taste like a cake I would do at home with spending 2.00 not 5 dollars for a slice cake I was looking forward to one if his special cake fillings 😢

Let's be real. His cakes are OUTDATED and look like cakes you can by at Safeway. 😒Bakeries have gotten much more creative now that sugar flowers and fondant.

I bought one of his cakes at the bakery. Paid 50 dollars for 8 inch cake. I wasn’t impressed . I can get much better for a fraction of the price at my local grocery store bakery.
I love the cake boss but I bought different slices and was not impressed. I think going to his original bakery would be better

I don't know about the downfall of the show, but the cakes were atrocious. I was so excited and stood in line when they opened in Dallas. I was severely disappointed. Nothing was good. I tried going back twice more. The strawberry shortcake was good one time horrible the next. Making the same mistake three times was more than enough. Never went back. I don't know anyone who went more than once other than myself. I love to the show and I was disappointed that I tried was so subpar. It actually tasted very similar to Walmart. Walmart is fine if you're paying Walmart prices.

It’s groose to see so many of his staff not needing to wear hairnets when baking and decorating the cakes they are working on. I cannot imagine eating any cake with so many people handling the cakes without gloves on. That is just so unhygienic.
There are 5 siblings then why the son is the boss of their father’s business
TLC spits most people up and out. Kinda a running theme for them. I enjoyed his show.

I have been using the Cake Boss cake program for the last 9yrs in my cottage bakery. .had no idea there was a Controversy between those 2...interesting.
The Cake machines are notorious for being disgusting, dry and just.. over priced for something you can make yourself from a box mix.. Major oof. (Delivered Fresh Daily) more like delivered FROZEN and OLD.
If it's not too late buddy do not give up you're the best above bakeries keep on begging cakes and everything do not give up you're the best❤
