Did you notice the chicken was a green screen? Some more information on this video👇 As early as the 7th century, traditional Chinese medicine has held that chicken soup made with Silkie meat is a “curative” food. Which basically means it’s medicinal. Fun fact: When the Dutch acquired these chickens they often sold them or showed them off as rabbit and chicken cross breeds because of the soft fur-like feathers. The silkies meat is tougher and has a stronger taste to it which makes it best for soups and stews. You can add anything you want to this soup but since this is medicinal, using other ingredients the benefit your health are recommended. The ingredients often found in silkie chicken soup is: 🔸 Ginseng 🔸 Garlic 🔸 Ginger 🔸 Lemon 🔸 Goji berries 🔸 Red dates 🔸 Onion 🔸 Mushrooms 🔸 Shaoxing wine
@@mikegodcs7691 I put a drop shadow on it. It’s see through in some spots. And I didn’t harm a chicken for this video. I bought the chicken packaged so it was butchered over seas and then shipped here. I’m just saying I personally didn’t harm any thing to make this dish 🙏
No wonder. Chinese ancient medicine is supposed to sound grand and mystical even tho its just small part beneficial effect and very large part superstition. Kinda like children playing alchemy

I used to have a pet silkie chickens and his name was ball chicken but he died 😭 I learned that silkies are super high maintenance and have like a 50 percent death rate
i've owned some silkies, they are adorable and have such fun personalities. we never ate them since they were pets, but didn't know they had so much history in chinese medicine! no wonder they lived longer than most of the others in our mixed breeds flock lol

I mean, technically, at least one chicken was harmed. And that's ok.
i genuinely dont understand why people have a problem with that in the first place, you're cooking with a dead animal anyway
Well, good thing that the chicken is alive😅😊
Technically a chicken WAS harmed and also i don't think its a green screen cause the chicken has shadow
