Doesnt DBD allready has some sort of lore? I mean, when you follow all trailers, Cutscenes and Archives, you see how the entity goes over the world. And with the Blight, who was someone who experimentet the Entity to break out of it, but failed, the last hope everyone has is the guy called ,,Virgo,, when im right... i dont know a lot about DBD, but i see a lore there...
But the idea of making a series is nice
gio-gio armani the archives have a lot of lore which explains the whole thing from Vigo’s point of view. “The entity” in the first tome does a decent job of explaining pretty much everything that is needed to know.

I remember watching this when it came out. 1 year passes and im listening to new songs for my playlist and i stumble upon the score's miracle. it was so familiar and i didnt know why. soon after, I got recommended this video. I wasn't much of a fan of dbd when i first watched this (I mainly watched it because your animations give me inspiration) and because of this animation, I found myself discovering the game and its lore.
I can't tell you how amazing and satisfying it is to come back and finally know the characters and understand how clever this animation is with little hints to the gameplay.
This video inspires me to play dead by daylight, it shows how the game is meant to be played and how cool it really is, the only thing that ruins the mood of the game are the players who just wanna call a beginner out for not “doing it right”. I wanna play actual heart racing matches, not tease beginner killers, nor do I wanna help a killer farm. I want to have fun, I want a challenge, and this video describes how it feels when your winning, when you in a chase, when you help you teammates. *k I’ll shut up now*
Only thing that kills my mood playing DBD is facing against a red rank (mind you am a rank 17 killer) and losing horribly or killing all but them and getting called trash by said red rank
EXACTLY, u feel that DBD is an AWESOME game specially when played right, when you fill the blood pumping as a survivor and when you laugh at the failed efforts to escape as a killer. It has SO MUCH POTENTIAL that is wasted when you get the toxic ones on match, it turns this Survival Horror game into just another competitive game that everyone forgets

I actually do agree. Most killers in DBD aren't that threatening when it's a bunch of meta survivors using everything they can.
Look at Legion. In real life, you'd be terrified if you met a man running at you with a knife and a mask.
In DBD, legion isn't scary. At all.
If more survivors made fun builds where it focused solely on like survival. Teamwork. Stealth. Etc. The game would be so much better for both sides.
Yes me too. I want heart racing chases as both killer and survivor. I don’t want to be picked on because I didn’t play the way someone else wants me too. Imagine how much better this game would be with no perks, items, addons, or offerings. Then it could be played off of pure skill.
Thats one of the things I liked most when I was starting out. When I first started, my heart was racing all the time, I freaked out so much not only because it was kinda scary to me, it was also one of the first games I had played. Two years later, the only times I really get heart racing matching are the occasional red rank Michaels, Trappers, and Nurses. Like, I just got a match where I had ghostface in hawkins. Not exactly the most entertaining match.
However, you just gotta make the most out of the game. Most of the time I can't experience the terror that I normally felt, but playing the game with friends always makes it more entertaining. I don't play killer a lot, so I don't understand that side, but i know that a lot of survivors can be jerks. Just try making the most outta every match, no matter what side your on, and even if you can't get the terror factor in :3

Well yeah, they kinda have story and everything, but what we need is a single player game dedicated to telling a story rather than a multiplayer survival game with hints and bits of a story.
