In this video, Abhi and Niyu discuss India's POVERTY trap. India needs 20 million jobs every year and we are only producing 5 million jobs. That means - 15 million people will be unemployed unless they become job creators themselves. But is being self employed, or being a business owner that easy in India? We spoke to people who earn 100 rupees per day and also to people who earn 100000 per day and figured out their problems. We bring to you - our documentary - India's poverty trap.

I belong to business family but my father never allowed me to join his business. I ended up joining MNC. It’s pathetic. India has deep socialist mindset. Making money is bad. 10 lakh people are sitting for 200-300 upsc jobs. I have utmost respect for entrepreneurs and deep contempt for Indian bureaucracy

Fundamental mindset also plays a role. Due to lack of resources spread across the population there is competition in everything from seats in colleges to space for vehicle on the road which leads to scarcity mindset.
In first world countries due to less population consuming abundant resources there is abundance mindset.
The moment you place a person from abundance mindset region into a scarce situation they would also behave exactly as a person who is already in scarcity situation.

    1) collecting all these big documents
    2) getting signatures of corrupt government officials on those documents
    3) taking money and then paying them with signatures
    4) Even if the government pays them, after the start of business, we pay them monthly (from peons to big officials, they are all corrupt people, they don't want to work, they just want money).
    5) After the business starts, you have to find the market, customers
    6) There is no source of money for at least 3 years rather you have to invest money yourself and there is no guarantee whether the business will be successful or not.

if you choose to emigrate, it's imperative to fully commit to your new home. nations welcoming immigrants are offering opportunities for a better life Better wage Better infrastructure and what not ( the reason you said you don't like india because it lack these things ) - it's ingratitude of the highest order to accept these benefits while maintaining such conflicted loyalties.
your indecisiveness reflects poorly on immigrants as a whole. it's individuals like yourself who perpetuate negative stereotypes about newcomers. either remain in india and work towards its betterment, or fully embrace your new country of residence.
this half-hearted approach serves no one. it's high time you made a definitive choice and stood by it yeah you and i indian and we love it but make up your mind.

And while they're offering several benefits, it's because it's a win-win for both. They need people to employ, boost their economy. They need youth to support their aging or shrinking population.

I started freelancing 2 years ago, and I quickly found out why foreign clients don't want to work with Indian people. The biggest problem is the payment. There are very less ways by which you can receive payments from foreign clients. And you can't keep that payment in USD or EUR, it will be converted automatically. There was so much bureaucracy when it comes to registering a business and opening a bank account. This process took me a couple of months and I had to visit the banks multiple times. Doing business in India is such a pain in the ass and I wish it was better.

Unless we get out of this mindset that rich people are bad and they do nothing for the people, doing business in India will never be easy.
Also the mindset of us Indians must change of getting everything at the cheapest price. Most state government servants don't even earn 1 lakh per month before retirement it is far a dream. The top Govt officials take away most the bribe. You have no idea how much hard work lower level clerks have to do now a days, there are many hardworking and good Govt employees specially in the younger generation, even after this peanut salary you want to reduce salary of Govt employees. You do any job anywhere but asking to reduce employee wage anywhere is a criminal communist mindset towards the middle class.

Even the parents of many middle class students force them for UPSC preparation and discourage if they even think of a startup. 30% hey.. khus raho. Galti se kabhi business accha chalke ₹5 crore cross kiya na tax surcharge pakadke 43% approx dena padega aur 18% GST alag se.
Isse accha try to setup your business in UAE or Singapore.

Day by day business corruption seems understandable and justifiable. Political corruption is the main reason behind this. Government jobs must be made less secure so that government officials know that their performance will decide whether they stay or not. That's when we'll get more things done than ever before

Firstly, entrepreneurship is not being taught in schools and colleges, therefore it is necessary to teach that skill.
To join politics, it is necessary for anyone to have graduated or gained some political skills.
Thirdly, make sure to offer training for every skill in the Digital India campaign.
Finally, make sure to follow the steps above and take them very seriously.

    Hatts Off🎩.
For a country to grow we need more and more job creators rather than job aspirants.
I really want to see an India where parents will start giving examples of Sharma ji Ladka who started his business and earned a good amount of money while solving real problems and creating Jobs.

It's all about what a child learn in his early days of education. I am a science student but never in my school there was a single chapter regarding businesses till 10 th standard. And if we will are not aware of different ideas, opportunity then how we will choose our carrier.
Indian education is just about scoring number.
    • If a student has just given his 12th exam and now he want to do any kind of work, job through the education of 12-14 years. He or she has zero practical knowledge even the toppers.
    This is the harsh reality

An employed person earns more than a employed person, many people say that the government does not give jobs, they do not know anything other than government jobs, how Talent will be needed to work in any company, those who have not studied much are the ones who do government jobs, those who have read and heard more, mostly in the system you have become a person, do many things on your own, expect for government jobs, if you have a Talent, you can do everything, for this I say study is important, for this mentality, this country is far away, there is a saying that rich people are getting rich, and poor people are getting poor, because of this,❤❤❤😊😊 jai hind 🇮🇳
