    I'm very interested in this as a big fan of the Oniverse games and this being the first thing from inPatience outside of that series. Good to see that Shadi Torbey is still bringing us cool small solo/co-op games purely as a publisher and not just when he's the designer.

      It has a lot of similarities to the Oniverse games with a complexity level that might compare to one of the games including a couple of the mini-expansions.

    Thanks for the playthrough, and this review/rules overview.
    I'm definitely going to order the game. I need a replacement for Onirim that my daughter snaffled from me and this should fit the bill lol
    It looks good, I like the puzzle aspects, theme and also the price point is very welcoming so what's not to love?

    Fantastic, Mike! It would be fun to know Zee's thoughts, considering he is a citizen of the Oniverse. The game looks gorgeous. I wonder if it uses the same delightful packaging as Torbey's games.

      It doesn’t use the same packaging.

      It’s not the same box size, but the length is the same as the length of the Oniverse games so it looks great on the shelf together!

    Thanks for doing this on a table without annoying logos or advertising on it.

    Did someone say Du-tray? That made my foreign-language OCD very happy. Now fix those games with the sideways words!!!!
    As for the gameplay, it reminds me a lot of my early plays of Pandemic. At first, that game seems very luck-reliant, but it really isn't. At a 4-player count, it's at least 80% winnable at the 5-Epidemic count (less so at 2 players). You have to figure out the puzzle and figure out the best way to use all the mechanisms.

    That is an odd mix of Danish and English.

    • @mortenmdk
      @mortenmdk Před 10 měsíci +11

      We used Danish words for the creatures and the game’s title because those are what are specific to Denmark and English for everything else.
      We felt that it wasn’t needed to use Danish words for things that aren’t specifically Danish such as tree and ally. Using Danish names for everything would make the game harder to learn and to play.

    Got this on your recommendation and it’s fantastic. Pulled out a win on my first game. Sorry Mike. I agree it’s not as lucky as people think. There is a lot of great decisions in this.
