If Infinite Warfare was released without Call of Duty in its name we would probably be on the 3rd game of infinite warfare by now. Was a great game & definitely a lot of care was taken in the making of the game but I was same I'm not a fan of jetpack's or was at least tired of them by the time it was released

The reason no one agrees on these lists is that the only thing that determines where a Call of Duty lies on the tier list is when you played it. Which cod were you playing when you were in middle school, 5 man squad playing from 5pm to 1am everyday, just being a kid without a care in the world and no responsibilities. That's the S tier Cod.

Biff_McDouche NO! Having different streaks on different classes was extremely annoying. If I wanted to change my streaks I would have to change it on every class. I want the same streaks every game regardless of what gun I choose.

Okami Amaterasu MW3 is amazing, they took all the good stuff from the last two MW games and refined almost all of the bad. A tier at least

I know this comment is old but as somebody that has played online since cod 1 and owns every cod, I bloody loved it. Got to 20th Pristege twice, 60 days played, platnium trophy.
Only flaws for me were deathstreaks and the shitty dlc system (mw3 dlc maps were amazing but nobody paid for them)

Im Legit honestly one of my most played cods. While I did play MW2 mp, I didn’t really get into cod mp till Black Ops so I didn’t quite understand the MW2.5 argument.
Im Legit Why wouldn’t they? MW3 on launch had 1 of the worst lag comp I have ever experienced, the ACR and MP7 basically outgunned everything.
Noobs using Support could get 7 man feeds in ground war using the stealth bomber, and you were almost forced to run Assassin due to constant UAV spam.

Ghosts art style is the best imo, not the most realistic looking but thr graphics just look so nice, the weapons, the clothing, all the detail. For me it had the best gameplay out of all the cods. Hit detection is on point, its fast imo, the time to kill love it.

Meridian it's not happening it was confirmed ghosts 2 is not the next cod and might not ever because ghosts did horrible reviews and ghosts 2 nobody would really buy it as much as other cods it would be a waste to make

I don’t think it was above-the-rest phenomenal, but I respect your opinion. It was pretty good. The game is a B tier for me, but if it had a little more content it’d be sitting at A. It’s certainly not as bad as other people say it is.

Same. I feel like its the natural thing for them to do. It would be an indirect sequal to WW2. Plus they were working on a vietnam game before MW3 so they would have a headstart at making the new game. Sledgehammer is the best cod developer atm imo.
I feel like that should be taken in consideration. The game on launch has to count for something, it either pushes or pulls the community in,m. BO4 zombies might end up being great(especially if they do zombie chronicles 2) but it also will end up being the worst rated zombies experience because it single handedly killed the whole zombies community with its awful launch.

For Bo4 is at a C. I played blackout but I'm still not a battle royal fan. One of the worst microtransactions ever and only battle royal gets the updates most of the time
Eli it has the best realistic battle royale on the market by far, possibly its greatest league play, a balanced and fun multiplayer, and a zombies mode that has more maps at this point in time than ever. The downfall to this game is the truck load of microtransactions, specialists, lack of new quality content and a good community. Definitely above a C

Deadshot DYCE now compare that to Kino, Shang, Moon, CotD, and Ascension, as well as flawless remasters of the WaW maps. BO1 wins hands down

Nero I love you man but after what I heard about MW3, I was having heart problems, MW3 was amazing. Spec ops was more fun than MW2, you had more modes in spec ops, more choices, earning money and experience to get streaks and weapons, that was awesome I loved that. Multiplayer brought so much, infected, the specialist streaks, all or nothing mode, and much more. The weapons i thought were fantastic. Again I know it’s your opinion but I can’t get past it😭😂 Still love you bro keep it up!!

@@Blake-qk5yx The maps were epic. So many iconic maps I can still remember from AW. Best maps of any COD. Weapon varients were awesome, it just would have been nice to earn them by progression rather than supply drops. Sbm was a little strong in that game though, I agree on that part

Me too. When I know there's a subject that every COD CZcamsr is going to talk about, I get notifications from their videos about 3 hours before NerosCinema releases his video on the topic; but I know his video comes out later so he can fact check and put more information about the subject.
MW3 and blops 2 my two favs. Hardhat needs to be in MW4.

like a boz what do you mean??? Mw2 is literally one of the reasons online games are as big as they are today. A remaster would bring so many old and new fans to mw2 just because of its name and hype.
@@amiinside91 MW2 may have been the favorite among old school fans, but the sales numbers show that CoD sold the best around the MW3-BO2 era, both games each outselling MW2 by over 20%. Also, with the steaming pile of garbage that Modern Warfare remastered was, and the current greedy state of Activision, I find it likely that a significant portion of the old school fans wouldn't deem the remaster worth the money. Newer fans of the BO2 era, however, are quite used to being nickle-and-dimed, and wouldn't mind the greedy practices as that's all they know.
like a boz first, the games are only 3 years apart, second it doesn’t take a genius to know that the franchise grew bigger after mw2 and because of mw2. Also you are stupid if you hopped on the hate train for mwr. It fixed all of its problems because the original had literally no customization at all. They even added a few guns that weren’t even op at all. Nothing was better than m16 or ak74u. Therefore all the idiots that still put money into cod every year (includes me) would buy mw2r. The franchise is bigger than ever so that would bring old and new fans back just because how iconic the game was. No nostalgia to those facts.

Dalzahhh it had a good impact but not as much as halo. I’m a huge cod fan and always will be but halo 3 and mw2 literally made online games as big as they are today. Halo 3 was ahead of its time. With tons of new modes, maps, custom maps, amazing campaign and multiplayer, ranked or league mode, plus a theatre mode. All of that in 2007. Cod 4 was great for its time and a great game but lacked customization.

As someone who started in 2007 with CoD4 and being more nostalgic/biased towards the games that released from 07-11, your video really opened my eyes! I forgot so much about Ghosts and the DLC formula for example. Unlike others I personally really enjoyed WWII and still do BO4! Ghosts, AW, and BO3 to me are kinda ‘eh’ though. I know you said you didn’t play IW much but seriously, check out the campaign! It’s surprisingly really good! Other than some typically predictable cliché moments, Infinity Ward did a great job with it and I could tell that’s where the passion for the game went. It even got me playing MP more!

Yes!!! Finally!! Thank you Nero, I love Black Ops 4 multiplayer as well, everyone bashes it and they don't even mention that this is the first call of duty with manual healing which is super smooth in-game and is an amazing feature because it gives the player more control over their character during combat. I love the specialists as well because it brings a new level of replayability, and even though it can be annoying to die to someone's special weapon, you can then just pull out your special weapon and destroy them back. And the specialist equipment also brings a new level of teamwork and replayability as well; the gameplay of Black Ops 4 is just so smooth and the hit detection is actually really amazing too.

Been playing since COD4. Personally think BO2 is the most overrated COD by the community.
Been playing since Cod Finest Hour (first cod) on GameCube. Alongside medal of honor; people don't have a clue what an intense, gritty, impossible campaign can even feel like. Best campaign ever. Also, you couldn't just look it up. The internet really wasn't a thing for that - CZcams didn't exist. I saw it on a commercial during my daily Malcolm in the Middle after school binge. MW2 is what converted me to xbox - this game is what cod IS.

Yeah MW2 for me had the most fun multiplayer ever I had played others but the stupid weapons balancing made it fun it made it special, it was the most unbalanced cod ever and still after bo4 but that's what made it fun, but the reason why bo4 unbalanced multiplayer methods are not fun is down to specialists, honest I cant even tell you how much I hate specialists, they really don't have any place in a cod game, the seeker drone is by the most fucked up thing for me, especially when there's sweats and then they go and use seeker drone then your pretty much screw because in that game you will get stunned time and time again and won't have the ability to unleash your rage on these sweats, so you just have to leave,

Nah. BO2 is backwards compatible for XBOX and more recent. MW2 would sell more. Possibly BO1 would sell the most remastered though.
Completely agree with this list except for mw3 being a c rank. I think it should be a B because the multiplayer was pretty fun, the campaign is a pretty good ending (like you said), and the spec ops is fun.

Adam Bell I never even played the game because I was done with advanced movement, but everyone who gave it a true shot says it was great. Hell, they almost fixed microtransactions until treyarch ruined it again.

I think this list is almost perfect. Only thing I would change is Advanced Warfare. SHG took a lot of risks in an effort to innovate and that should be rewarded. It was also their first attempt at a cod game. Besides that, I still found the mp and exo zombies to be fun and the campaign was really good in terms of story. Definitely at least deserves C.

It's crazy how closely I agree with this list. Well done Nero. My only difference in opinion is I had Ghosts MP grow on me quite significantly after a few years. I can see why fans didnt like it, but, something different about it that finally came around for me. Other than that, awesome list. I definitely agree on IW. That was meh at best for me.
