these are 3 layer maps which they got rid off for giant desert maps like Taraq and Border..
Mission from MW3 needs a mention. It's one of the maps which catered for all play styles, it's the original Shoothouse. Left was sniping, middle up close and right mid range.
Mission can stay in its grave. You must've forgotten what being spawn trapped on that map was like. 😂
@@slcow12345 That didn't happen that often. Even so, you get to use smokes, toobs, and team comm to press one side. I like all the MW3 maps, especially Seatown. and Underground.

The most forgotten map imo is “Upheaval” from World at War. That map was so damn good and nostalgic. Deserves a remake.

Upheaval maybe my fav map from WaW, dang now I need to redownload the game again just to play that 1 map
Im surprised you didnt talk about kowloon. One of my favorites from BO1 and one of the most unique maps in the entire series

Flak Tower from WW2 is one map that I hope one day makes a return. Great fast paced action map
Warhawk was brought back one time in the final DLC for Infinite Warfare

I miss Warhawk, the Ghosts maps don't get love because everyone cried and bitched about them being "too big".

That's because in those days maps make sense and had flow nowadays maps need 30 lanes 250 lanes of sight and headgliches and more importantly safe spaces.

It's sad to me that Bo3 maps will probably never come back, even though Bo3 doesn't even have a single bad map
That's bc they can't come back without advanced movement.. They'd have to change Alot to being them back without it
@mazokuwarrior Combine would be great for BOTG. Just where the main wallrun spot is on the side in middle map just put a catwalk there, easy fix. The rest of Combine can be played perfectly fine on the ground.
I love BO3. I wish it was more active on console
@@mazokuwarriorwell for areas that required wall runs, added walk ways and just stuff for that walk way. For things that involved boost jumping, just add ways to climb up lol. Not hard
Infection. Every single time I got that map, there was some MF that did the under map glitch in the back spawn with the boulder
Warhawk was my favorite map from Ghost, it came back for Infinite Warfare. I think you skipped playing that COD if I remember correctly.
Warhawk was remade in Infinite Warfare, named Heartland

Black Ops 1 maps are all bangers. I played it recently and was like wow did they even know how to miss. Even with those bigger winter maps they were fire. No skips. Like Get Rich or Die Tryin
I don’t remember plaza being a “fan-favorite”, looked cool and had the dubstep room but it wasn’t even a top 10 map in bo2. Don’t remember people voting for plaza and saying “yes! Plaza!” Nonetheless, it has been forgotten other than the stupid references to it with Miami in Cold War.
Grid is definitely up there for me and so is seatown. Nice little throwback 👍
Cold war was supposed to get grid, firing range, summit etc
In fact you can find the entirety of grid in one of the fire team maps right now lol

So many great maps. Quite a few from WW2 too. I know alot of people hated on WW2 but I can honestly say it was the last CoD I thoroughly enjiyed and played throughout its life cycle. So many great maps. Flak Tower, Pointe Du Hoc, Sandbox and V2 were all great maps.
I feel like every DLC map from BO1 should come back some day, I can't think of a single one that I hated or thought was so bad I didn't want to play on it

The Ardennes Forest map in WW2 was definitely one of the best in the game, if not the best. Certainly was my favorite.

honestly if valkyrie came back i don't want them to touch the theme too much, we rarely get maps that take place in the woods. but when we do the maps are absolute bangers, redwood and valkyrie being surrounded by towering trees is a vibe. like yeah they could modernize the buildings but i like the brutalist design they have.

There was a map similar to micro in WW2 called sandbox. Not that it was a remake but where the players are shrunken and fighting next to huge sandbox toys including army men. Good times
The damn toy soldiers scattered throughout the map definitely revealed my position more times than I want to admit lol

And to think I used to get frustrated on that map around that tank because there was a lot of sightlines I lost killstreaks from. You could easily see that tank from 8-10 different angles.
If only I knew how bad the sightline problem would be in these modern maps where that issue exists in almost every single map. You don't know the good times are the good times until its the bad times.

I really liked carnival from mw2 resurgence pack. I personally think the map would play really well on the new cods with how much quicker movement is and I hope they bring the map back at some point

Ok BO4 maps were SO GOOD!! Perfect 3 lane design that we all love. Seaside, contraband, frequency!! Those maps were SO underappreciated
Splash was one of my all time favorite BO3 maps. The water tunnels that cut off mid were OP and apart of the best Call of Duty game OAT
Finally of all the CZcams content creators you finally gave Warhawk it's just due!! I loved Warhawk. I would always pop the campers that like to hang out by that white picket fence between the building and the metal shed. Those were fun times
I’m not ready for black ops 3 to become a forgotten relic like BO1/2. It holds up so well to this day and it seems like just yesterday I was grinding all the specialists after school.

Valkyrie is so good. Also worth mentioning that BO4 had some awesome original maps but they will probably be forgotten forever since that game wasnt as popular as the previous black ops games
Yes, indeed, you did make me feel old Nero. It's absolutely insane where the time has gone. Some of those maps definitely make me nostalgic for the old COD days. Part of me keeps hoping those kind of days will return, but if we are honest with ourselves, those days are long gone. I guess that's what makes them nostalgic. Also of note, I wasn't a big jump-pack COD fan, but I have to admit, I absolutely loved BO3. I think Treyach really nailed it with that game.

Valkyrie was actually a remake of Detroit from AW so technically that was remade
Never played WWII so ill replace them with Karachi or Skidrow(MW2), Upheaval or Banzai(W@W), Arkaden or Mission(MW3). Literally any map from Advance Warfare launch or DLC I would take in a heartbeat. The maps were crazy fun, but I think Sideshow would work the best with current movement. Same thing with any DLC map from Ghosts.
Great video as always. That's cool that you are giving a lot of love to WWII. I loved every map in WWII except for Carentan and Dunkirk and sometimes V2. WWII had such a great MP map selection to play on after all of the added free maps and the map packs. I liked the close quarter maps where I could use the shotty and shield. Pretty much every possible layout for maps was used. Where is Shipment 1944 again? That was perfect tiny map. Every other Shipment map is f*cked up.
For me I used to love when they bring back old maps but now they cant even do it right look at Shipment in MW2019 and Vanguard just name Shipment and castle had same Problem in Vanguard
Discovery from BO1 was a very unique map that was severely underrated
COD Ghosts had some awesome DLC maps, with Fog being one, but also ones like Mutiny (a pirate town), Departed (a Dia de Los Muertos celebration), Goldrush (an Old West mining town), and so on. Those maps felt like the devs were having fun with the maps, and I would love to see them not only return, but also new maps like them.
Cod ghosts was such a fun DLC game! I remember watching youtubers like AliA play the new maps and being so excited about them. Can’t believe it’s almost 10 years ago 🤯
@@mexraymakers the map specific kill streaks were also so much fun. Michael Myers, Death Mariachi, a pirate ship broadside, ghost wolves, THE PREDATOR!!!! Loved how creative it was, though it would be tricky to try something like that nowadays.

Warhawk was my favorite map in ghost by far, and that forest with the tower and river was a close second.
Micro from bo3 and sandbox from ww2 were so unique. Damn shame we probably won't get anything like them again

Majority of maps in all CODs are forgotten about. The devs only bring back the same remakes.

Micro is one of the most underrated maps. Just had a bunch of friends over and we did a split screen safeguard match on micro. So much fun.
I would be so damn hyped up if we got splash and trailer park for summer themed maps

I think some of the MW3 dlc and face off maps were pretty cool the one with the orange fall leaves or the face off map set in a farm with the tornado behind

I think part of the reason they weren't brought back is due to the maps being replaced by other great maps (unlike today like who in their right mind would want a Piccadilly or Santa Seña map come back ever again)

That would be a good idea to bring back all of the old maps, and old weapons in one DLC. I would love to play those maps again. Someone make it happen.

Fun fact: Valkyrie is a remix of Detroit from Advanced Warfare.
Look at the layouts and you may see the similarities, similar to what they did to Strikezone (which is a remix of Dome from MW3) and Genesis (which is a remix of Strikezone).

Really went and made a video on abandoned maps and left out the following:
Vertigo, Hydro, and Magma from BO2,
Hunted, Gauntlet, Rift, Spire, and Citadel from BO3
Those 7 maps are among my favorites in the entire series

Happy 'Trailer Park' got some recognition one of the best maps ever. Carnival was dope too
I miss when we had creativity in cod! Changing maps up while playing them is something I always loved to see but now we get these maps that don’t have any love in it anymore
