My wife and I used to live in Fort Collins (from 2012 through 2022) before moving to the northeast coast of Florida. I have been around Fort Collins since 1989 as I started to work for a company based there so I have been around since then. My wife and I are from Colorado Springs. Fort Collins is truly a gem in Colorado, certainly one of my favorite places. The vibe in FoCo is awesome and there are a collection of terrific places to eat and drink. I would suggest Rare (Italian), Austin's (downtown location - American fare), Avogadro's Number (best Mozzarella sticks I've ever had), The Silver Grill Cafe for the Cinnamon Rolls (the best!!!), Snooze for breakfast, just to name a few places. I will always love Fort Collins!
I couldn't agree more! We love it so much!
I can see most of Americans love Florida State especially Miami Dade County. What could be the reason? Uhmmm
I'm curious - how do you think Fort Collins stacks up compared to Colorado Springs? Particularly for raising a family?
@@BlackDad, having lived in both cities, I would definitely choose Fort Collins over Colorado Springs. Fort Collins is smaller in population, doesn’t have as much urban sprawl, less crime, great vibe in “Old Town”, terrific college town, less traffic (overall), terrific schools.
@@RobotDoctor89 I, too, used to live in Co Sgs, but live in Foco. Co Spgs. also, has a lot of military bases and transitional people. And I-25 goes right through Colorado Springs, so it doesn't have that small town atmosphere. I was amazed that at my parents house in Foco, No Walmart was more than approx. 5 miles. In Colorado Springs, it took me 12 miles just to work out. Pros: Garden of the Gods; Manitou, hiking, a real mall or two. Cons: not Foco. Where Co Spgs has military, Foco is a college town. Co Spgs has had some major scandals.
I've lived in FoCO for 5 years and I love it here!
It's a wonderful place to call home!! Almost 2 years for me!
Wife and I take our Corgi for the annual
Corgi roundup the first week in October in Fort Collins. This town is awesome. Plenty of parks to walk our pooch and you can’t beat the views of Rockies! We have new places to check out now.
Awesome! Yes, there are so many great areas to enjoy around FOCO. Thanks for watching!!
You make the best videos ever!! My hubby and I enjoy watching y’all every time you upload, they bring us so much joy!! Keep them coming!!
I appreciate that so much! Thank you for watching and following along!
Fort Collins native here... born and raised. I lived there my entire life (I'm 44-years-old) and still do. Although I'm currently traveling for work and haven't been home for a few months. This video has helped alleviate some of my homesickness.
Downtown foco is my favorite place to be. I was Born and raised here and downtown never gets old.
I always love going there! Such a great downtown!
Fort Collins looks really cozy for a nice short trip 🙂Jeanie, I am literally obsessed with your channel/content. Please never stop lol
Ahh! Thanks so much! It really is a cozy town. We love it here! Thanks for watching!
Love you folks. you do a good job of showing places.
Ahh! Thanks so much! I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
I will definitely added it to my list of places to go. Thanks 😊
Definitely! Such a neat downtown area to experience!
I can't believe you missed Ace Gillett's Lounge, so much nicer than Social's. Much classier even if not reported nationally. Dress to impress.
We do what to go one day. But didn't have time in this vlog. Theres always next time 😉
I watch and enjoy all your videos. I’m currently visiting Fort Collins (from Ohio) and checking out all your recommendations! We did Glenwood Springs a couple months ago and headed to Estes Park tomorrow to follow your suggestions. It gives us a mission and my husband and I have so much fun! Thank you!! 🤗🤗
Nice job. I hear it's one of the top bike-friendly cities in the country. Maybe add it to your list to find out if you need another show idea!
Hey!! Thankyou for finally making a fort Collins video :)
Still planning my Vaca. Your videos help
Awesome! Thanks for watching and happy planning!
Great video! Those truffles looked amazing 😋 Underground arcade, how fun! Love pinball 👍🏻
Yes to all! Thank you so much for watching
Fort Collins is my go to stop in Colorado. Welcome back. I hope yall had a phenomenal Thanksgiving
Love that! It really is special, so glad you always make a stop in FoCo.
Thank you so much! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving too!
@@JeanieMarie I'm actually walking around downtown San Antonio and the Riverwalk for my physical therapy tonight. Wish I could share the pics!
@Tranquilo Oh I've heard that's such a pretty area. We definitely can't wait to visit Texas one day. Hope your physical therapy is going well 🙏
@@JeanieMarie If yall ever have the time I would love to help make suggestions for a Texas trip. Therapy is kinda on my own because I had a minor surgery Friday and I cant sit still.
@Tranquilo Thank you! I'll keep that in mind! Wishing you a fast recovery from your surgery 🙏
this place doesn't look like a normal college town and I can feel some history and traditions.
nice little tour there! Thanks!
Thanks so much for watching!
Nice! I live in FoCo and really enjoyed your video. Good job!
Thanks so much for watching!!
@@JeanieMarie You're welcome. I saw on another vid where you remarked on how friendly people are around here. Agreed! This is a special place, and you folks fit right in.
@Elvin Hayes Yes, people are so so friendly here. We just love it here and so happy to call this place home.

Your videos are so nice and informative. We’ll be visiting Colorado during Christmas week. My husband and I have been watching almost all your videos and they’re amazing. We’re going to be in Springs, can’t wait am so excited ❤
Ahh! Thanks so much! I appreciate that! Wishing a great trip to CO! Happy holidays!
@@JeanieMarie so sweet of you to reply right away. I’d really appreciate if there’s a better way we can get in touch?! Maybe ? If that’s okay 🙏🏻❤️
Love the train in the background. That's in almost every one of my videos of downtown.
The tracks run down the middle of Mason St where there are more venues. My band played at Avo's and another right at the tracks. Just have to power through the song when the whistle blows.
❤❤❤
Good
I just moved away from Fort Collins 😢😢 I’m glad this video came up in my recommended!
Awe! 😓 I'm sorry! I hope where you moved is just as amazing as FoCo!
great video! I've been thinking of moving to Colorado for years now and through research, i kinda landed on Loveland that's a little south. wondering through you if there's anything to do there or even enough to make a video on lol. Thanks, Jeanie!
Yes! We are right between FoCo and Loveland...so lucky to have easy access to both towns. There's certain things I prefer in Loveland over Foco and vice verse. There is a great downtown area in Loveland i just haven't had a chance to make it down there yet and film. One day I will!
I was in your shoes and opted for FC over Loveland because there's far, far more to do in FC.
Main Street in Disneyland is actually modeled after old town Fort Collins.
Yes it is! Very cool history about that.
Yo yo you have to post an interview with you and the guy with the goatee shadow.
When I saw Old Town alley it also made me think of Europe....Netherlands...France...
maybe I'll bump into you as we both wander the alley ways of Fort Collins. It reminds me of Walla Walla, Wa.
Within the Elizabeth Hotel there’s also a full wine store/restaurant. It’s French fusion I believe, it’s really good. Highly recommend for dinner.
That sounds amazing! I'll keep that in mind for next time!
Very prejudice in fort Collins
1 play for .75? So not vintage!
Seems prettty boring for a 1.5m people city.
Watched 10 seconds... I bet you moved here from California... Thanks for ruining Colorado.
😅 definitely did not! But thanks for the algorithm boost! 🤌
