    I have binge watched almost all of your videos. Fortunately, I have the ability to absorb your material while playing it all at 2X speed, so it only took me half the time to binge-watch! Your material is truly gold. You have a remarkable gift of being able to deliver your content without any "fluff" at all.

      Yes, I do speak slowly, so it's possible to play my videos at 2X speed and still understand. I naturally speak slowly, but also do so because I have a lot of viewers whose first language is not English.

      @@ScientificWritingwithKarenLMcK I am sure that it is also because you are so deliberate in your delivery. It truly is a joy to watch and listen. Having closed captions turned on at 2X makes it even easier to absorb the material at that rate. On another matter, maybe you have such a video and I have overlooked it, what about a paper that isn't a research paper , i.e. no materials and methods, field data, etc, instead, a presentation of say, a new scientific model, or a new approach to a particular scientific method. How would one approach writing such a paper? Could you please do a video on that, or if you already have, tell me which one it is. I have watched most and do not recall if one covered that.

    Excelente video muchas gracias. El problema que tengo es que no se qué servicio o método usar para que mi artículo esté en el idioma ingles sin errores. Tengo Pro Grammar Aid y también Grammarly pero creo que no es suficiente.

      @ScientificWritingwithKarenLMcK  Před 2 lety +1

      Antonio, thanks for your comment. I understand how difficult it must be for you to translate your papers into English for publication. Writing papers in English is hard for native speakers but more so for non-native speakers, which puts the latter at a disadvantage professionally (www.nature.com/articles/d41586-019-01797-0). Using aids like Pro Grammar Aid may not always help with subtle wordings so that they are correct in English.

    Is it a good idea to write an article about how to use a software?
    I wrote in the introduction that reading the manual is time consuming, and this paper could help ....
    Should I continue writing or should I not bother?

      If you are unsure, contact the journal you are planning to submit to and ask the editor if they would be interested in such an article.
