After finally getting hold of my now ex girlfriends phone, I found out she was cheating on me, everything had been a lie, taken for such a fool, I blame myself for ignoring so many red flags... I hibernate for 6 months grappling with a deep depression and rage. Finally the fog and grief begins to lift and my true friends get me through - I now attempt to ride my Harley Davidson Roadking to the Gibb river and back, some 10,000 kilometers deep into the Kimberley region Western Australia, one of the toughest roads in Australia. There are many water crossings, I have no idea if I will be able to ride the 665 kilometers along the Gibb river, all unsealed road - but I will attempt it ! Will the Roadking hold up ? Will my sanity return ? The Roadking about to do 100,000 kilometers !!!

Danny. Never commented on any of your videos, but watched em all. 39 years a biker. Diagnosed Manic Depressive 30 years ago. We are all different, you're not me and vice versa, but I absolutely get it. On paper have everything.. but that's just paper. Im now in foreign hospital 1000 miles from home, after almighty smash on the bike, first proper one in all that time. Neck, pelvis, legs arms. Everything. Ive got some dark days ahead. But I'm alive. Keep putting your work out, its excellent. Sometimes we are all a long way from home ❤. Your videos will help me back there.❤
Been there and much worse. I got my strength from myself. I'm paralised in cronic pain and nothing the medical profession can do. Can ride, barely even a wheel chair/ scooter. Only saving grace are a couple of friends and Banter. Fuck it just I get a grip that's it. Bikes still are my life.❤

Four years clean and sober last week… Never ending battle the claims a lot of your closest friends. I certainly relate to the self-loathing and isolation. I had a feeling the darkness had swept you away, my only hope was you hadn’t left us.
I’m suffering deeply myself as the darkness consumes me and I can’t get of of bed most days, thoughts of ending it haunt me. Just existing and not living is no way to spend anyone’s life! I’ll try to be more like you, thank you Danny for being so strong and fighting back!
I feel for you guys . I've suffered neck and shoulder pain since a bad car accident when I was nineteen im nearly 60 and it's been getting worse as I get older. I have never let it get me down or beat me , I try to keep healthy and get up every day, I'm lucky I work for myself and can choose to work when I want , keep positive and go for a walk everyday drink plenty water and always think there is people worse . Keep strong

So it’s okay to get depressed bc your human but make that extremely short, realize what’s going on and come out swinging like your fighting your worse enemy! You got this!! Danny, it's great to see you back, and I look forward to this adventure of yours. you and I are similar in so many ways, Depression, recovery and that love for Harley Davidson. my friend, when we put ore selfs in the public domain, there is always going to the haters and the ones that truly challenge us. but its non of our business what others think. a wise person once taught this, every single person that comes into my life is my teacher, they show me what I do and do not ant to be. so to the haters I say thank you for the session in life, and no thank you, I choose to not be like them. you are a good man, and you have done so much to help so many people, please do not give it all up to please the ones who are jellies about you. you have saved lives, and most of all you have saved your life, remember your words my friend, to end our life just diverts the pain and suffering to our loved ones. be strong, be honest and be you. remember that you are a good person.. happy trails, and got the road king.

Happy for you that you are back and making progress. COVID knocked the sock off me and I basically did as you - no contact except family, looked after myself and blocked everyone else out of my old life. Lost 20 pounds, stopped drinking, stopped riding, started reading and took care of my mental health - it's not easy but, it is so great when you turn the corner and begin that long trek back. I'm not back on my Harley yet but, looking forward to spring 2025 and getting back on the road - I should be prime by then - I know everyday is just a teeny bit better, when sit down and add it all up, we'll be good to go!
