- Today I will show you how to crochet this beautiful Annie crochet dress pattern for baby girls between 3 to 6 months. It's my Annie pinafore style dress pattern and design using the 3D shell stitch pattern which I already have a diaper cover, baby blanket, baby jacket or coat and baby bonnet so you can complete the set. See below. Now you can easily crochet this little angel wings dress smaller or bigger by simply changing your hook size and making it in the exact same way as this tutorial. Just remember these sizes are not exact they are approximate since not all babies are the same size and since tension varies from person to person which can affect the final size. TO MAKE SMALLER OR BIGGER:
NB use 2.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
0-3M use 3mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
3-6M use 3.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
6-9M use 4mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
9-12M use 4.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn

Materials used:
Dress = 113g of DK yarn ( I used Stylecraft Special DK 107g in white and 6g in blue)
You can also use any yarn with similar weight like #3, or 8ply
Two 11mm size buttons for back side but you can also use 9mm or 10mm size too.

Well, I started working on this pattern about a week ago. So far it's coming out beautifully. I did make a couple of mistakes, I accidentally skipped the second row of 102 single crochet, and I some how ended up with 33 shells around, (instead of 17) I'm just rolling with it, because I discovered my mistake too late in the game, and the tarn I'm using is delicate, and hard to pull out. So my skirt is coming out a bit flouncier, but I'm liking it.
102/3 is 33 but there's sc between each shell , took me a minute on that one myself
Oh Sara, this little dress is absolutely stunning, and a matching items you have to go with the dresses are stunning as well, they will look gorgeous on any little girl and you could make a few of the same dress, but use different colours. Hi. Thank you for your lovely tutorials..im sorry but i dont appear to be getting the same row count as you. I have 52 sc in row 1. You do 13 increases which is 65 but you say 64 and then on row 3 you do another 13 increases and get 76 when i get 78? I have frogged 4 times and still get the same??? Thank you
Hi. I only make 12 increases. At the end of the 2nd row of the yoke you will not increase at the end. That’s why I say “I finished this row by making these last 4 dc”. That’s why you will have 64 dc at the end of this row. This row ends at minute mark 3:22 of the video.
For the 3rd row same thing. You make 12 increases and finish the row with 4dc for a total of 76 dc at the end of the 3rd row. Minute mark 4:11 of the video. I hope this helps and thank you so much for your support 🤗

As I make the rows my dress seems to be growing in it’s circumference, not staying to one width going down 😕 a bit confused why that’s happening and what I need to do to stop the circle from getting bigger. Anyone able to help?
I’m sorry but I don’t know what you’ve done to make it like that but just double check how I finish and start each row for the skirt after dividing. Most likely the mistake is from the beginning. Good luck 👍

I know the first row has 17 fans and so I assume this is the only number of fans it should remain as we work down the skirt? It is my first attempt to crochet an item of clothing so I guess I need to make my mistakes and figure it out.

@@CrochetForBaby A little update. My second attempt at creating the skirt has been successful 😊 I not sure what the mistake was the first time but I ensured and counted several times that my two rows definitely were of 102 chains and so giving me 17 fans and continuing down the skirt.
