Double Battery Pack on Electric Citycoco Harley Scooter wtih 160km Range

- To prolong the range per charge on the Electric Citycoco Harley Scooter, we can enlarge our battery capacity. But the space on the citycoco frame is limited. On the latest citycoco we have settle this problem. Two big battery pack are installed on the harley scooter. Both lithium battery pack is 60V 20Ah, on 1000W motor, the max range can be reached on 160km per charge.
This is the best solution on urban transportation, and also for scooter rental business. The both battery packs are easy to be detached for charging.
As other citycoco we have, front & rear shock suspensions, big fat tires, comfortable driver and pessagner's seat with backrest. This model will be popular in the market also.

Life lesson number one, expect poor material from Chinese manufacturers such as the motor and the battery. The first time I saw this I thought I should probably order better parts, while my shipment is coming.

I bought today a citycoco scooter. I was wondering do you have to charge the battery for the first time for 12 hours? Or just normal like 4 a 5 hours?
First charge on 12 hours is fine, the power is cut off automatically when battery is full charged. But don't leave the battery charger connected too long. It is not safe. When battery full charged, light turns green on the charger. About charging time, it depends on your charger output current.

Its true that the battery life time only for a year? And the price for changing the battery is highly expensive?
The battery on the above harley city coco is lithium battery. It has more than 1000 times recharging circle. Battery life is three years.
There is another lead acid battery, cost is much cheaper, battery life on 350 times recharging, one year. :-)
no totally untrue.if maintained as direct it should be good for up to 500-1000 recharges,depending on how long that takes to do,and as for costs the price is about 8 dollars per battery in canada for 21700,18650 and so on.if it's a lead based battery they are about 560 dollars here for 4 of them in canada for each one costs 105-125 for good ones plus installing with the store.

The water resistant level is IPX55. It can be driving in raining and snowing. But not under water.

a good battery costs about 8 dollars per canadian,the web is full of good ones best pick samsung,lg,teslia,or major seller who sells those brands with others. they don't sell bad with good often.a 60 watt 20amp would demand about 17 batteries add a battery management system is about 30-60 bucks canadian it's about 200 bucks for that,added costs for tack welder,wires and so on needed.at worse after buying everything say 650 dollars canadian. if you can handle it then go for it half the price of bought unit.but then again you can tell them what type of batteries and best let a pro build things that go bang if done wrong till you know how to do it right.

I just bought City coco... It's crap. The battery drains within a journey of 5-9km
no way 160km range from 40Ah, 120 is more realistic, unless you drive it 20kmh on overinflated tires.
