The girl with "everthing's fine" tattoo is Jordan LaMattina. She is the one who misspelled it and the artist was just following her draft. He received a lot of backlash after her initial video. Now she's trying to clear the artist's name. Looks like she's totally happy with her misspelled tattoo and feels bad for unfairly showing the artist in a bad light.

Pressured by who? Herself? She never said out loud she didn't want to do it. It's not the tattoo artists fault she didn't voice her feelings. Also tattoo artists are exactly that: artists. They are the professionals and know what looks good. My first tattoo, I straight up got told, "Yeah, don't tell anyone I did that if they ask where you got it done" when I insisted on a bad tattoo design. I gave in and used a design he came up with because I trusted he knew what he was doing. I've never regretted it and yes, as an adult the design I chose was so lame and I'm glad he talked me out of it. I was 18 with no life experience. I actually regret my other tattoo I got a year after that. But I don't regret the one he convinced me to change. Same tattoo, just way better design and he added color when my original idea was black. So glad he did. However, girl in the video should've just held firm if she didn't want to do it. 1. She wasn't pressured to anything. She herself said she thought IN HER HEAD she didn't wanna do it and never told anyone. People can't read your mind. 2. Tattoo artists aren't gonna go anything you say not to. They make suggestions. She should've held firm if she wanted a color. You really should not get a tattoo if you don't have a backbone, but you also need to respect that tattoo artists know way more than you and may have valid reasons to suggest different colors than you want. You could very easily ask why they suggest that before you let them or agree. And then decide if you want to go through with it. With my second tattoo, the artist suggested a different placement for it than I wanted because he said if I wanted tattoos in the future, it would allow more room if I wanted a full sleeve. It's their job to look out for you.

I know a woman who got eyebrow tattoos when her own first got too pale to see, and then chemo removed them entirely. The artist took the time to carefully get the color right, and used a mix, just like real hair. And she asked him to add in ‘stray hairs’ for a more natural look. And honestly… if she hadn’t mentioned it, I never would have known she did not have eyebrows!

My blond eyebrows are sparse so it looks like I have no eyebrows. I got them microbladed about 18 months ago and love them. I’ll definitely have them redone when they fade. It all depends on the practitioner. The esthetician who did mine has done them for years so I was able to look at photos of her work when I was researching. She took time to discuss the shape I wanted, how dark, etc. and I had a great result.

I read that she wanted the Tattoo beucause her life is constantly like this and nothing turns out as expected. one of them is dislexic and the other has a Asd. I think it's funnier misspelled. As a 4th generation Texan, I would have spelled it "everthang" as a tribute to my son. In first grade, he was learning phonics, sounding out the word to get the correct spelling. That's not always accurate in the South!
I was reciting words on his spelling list for him to write down, using phonics. The words "thing" and "bring" were on the list, and no surprise to me, he spelled them "thang and brang" because that's how he's heard it pronounced!

Yeah, and most shops now have policies in place after these went viral years ago that you, the client, are responsible for proofreading and spellchecking any writing before and after it becomes a stencil. Especially if you copy and paste the words to them. Also, don't get script freehand. Just don't. More often than not something will go wrong. Also, flip the image upside down and/or in a mirror before it goes on your body. People often get excited and see what they want initially. The brain just glosses over it. If you flip it your brain has to slow down to really look at each letter because they are no longer letters but images. It works for objects too. Draw something like a bicycle from memory, just a simple line drawing, and then compare it to the real thing. You'd be surprised about what your brain goes, "Ehhh, close enough!" at.

It's a VERY wordy tattoo, and my artist had me check the spelling of what I wrote down, check it after he typed it, again after he printed the stencil, and check it one last time after he placed the stencil. Tattoo Artist of 18 years here, I tattooed (not microbladed) my own eyebrows and still very very happy with it 6 years later. It's just a matter of understanding that now matter how thin you make the lines (aka micro), your skin will continue to dispose of the ink for as long as it's there. micro lines will become regular lines within a year, unless its not done well. The microbladed eyebrows I have seen in my years were almost always the wrong shade and way too light or had 'holes' of where the ink didn't take.. When you think it's the right shade when the session is finished, I can guarantee it's going to heal way too light. Another layer of skin will grow over the exposed ink and fade out. Just something to consider

All of my tattoos are in Japanese, but I had my brother who is Japanese (it's also his first language) double check them for me. Mine are my son's name and the kanji for 'strange.' LOL In both cases the artist had me double check the stencil before they applied it. I drew the stencils, but I was thankful for the last look just in case. And as someone already mentioned, I had to sign a paper saying the stencil was exactly how I wanted it and where it was being placed. And also another paper saying I approved the artist doing it.

Speaking as a tattoo artist! If an artist fucks up a tattoo, a reputable artist will apologize and work with you to fix/cover it at no cost or cost of supplies used. Most will NOT refund you because you still got a service and this isn’t an easy job, especially physically.
If they’re a trash “artist”, they’ll make up some weird reason/excuse as to why it’s YOUR fault and then trash talk you the moment you leave; ghost/block you; try and convince you to give them another insane deposit and then ghost you or just put you on blast on tiktok as a trashy client and try to blacklist you.
Do your research on artists. If you go to someone solely because they’re popular online/tiktok… expect a trashy/uncomfortable experience or a trashy tattoo. Try to find someone who doesn’t actually focus on content creation, but their craft. Always look for healed photos, never go to someone who posts ONLY videos or far away photos you can’t zoom in on. Also… you get what you pay for. You pay 100$ for a sleeve, expect a 100$ quality sleeve.
Feel free to reply with questions! I can give all kinds of red flags to look for as a tattoo artist who got heavily tattooed before tattooing and has learned /a lot/ haha.

Regarding the tattoo artist having consequences -- I have 10+ tattoos and every tattoo artist I have gone to, especially when incorporating text, has asked me to check it three times before they will start. They will also read out the letters one by one. Professional tattoo artists are careful about this, but I think ultimately it's the responsibility to the person being tattooed to make sure everthing's fine.

The football players brought back a memory from when I worked at Great Clips. Picture it...3 stylists working and in walks a whole baseball team. Half of the team had horrible shaved heads but shaved like bald spots, reverse Mohawks, and chunks just shaved from random spots. The coaches were so mad, and the whole team was in trouble. The seniors made the freshmen let them shave their heads as an initiation. These kids were at an away tournament and were hundreds of miles from home in the coaches care. The 3 of us stylists had our hands full, and some just had to have their hair fully buzzed off. There's not much you can do to fix a Munk bald spot or a reverse Mohawk. As each kid got his hair cut, the coaches made the senior who cut that kids hair call and explain to the parents of the kids whose hair he cut what he had done. The coaches paid and tipped us very well, but the seniors' parents all agreed to pay the coaches back, and the seniors were going to have to work it off. I think the coaches tipped us so well so the seniors would have to work harder, lol.

For some reason hairdressers don't seem to believe me, so after she was done, she looked at my hair and said "It'll look better when it grows a bit.", and this kind of stuff happens all the time. And I can understand they don't believe customers, because customers lie and don't know what they're talking about, but if my hairdresser's not going to believe me, I do expect them to know what the end result is going to look like. I've been there a few times, unfortunately.
1 - I'd been flirting with this guy from a uni chat group for a few weeks but due to several reasons we'd never actually met in person. One day I couldn't respond to his messages because I was doing volunteer work with children. He absolutely freaked out over me not responding and couldn't understand why one dude responsible for around 20 kids of ages 6-10 would be too busy/focused to check his phone. After I got mad at him, he apologized and I actually did give him another chance (I usually give people a second chance...but just one). Just a few days later he freaked out again over something mundane. He said he was just stressed because of how much he loved me and how we're soulmates. Again...WE'D NEVER EVEN MET! When I said we were done, he claimed he'd spoken to spirits who told him we were meant to be and one day it'd happen.
2 - Met this guy during an anime convention and we ended up making out. We ran into each other again during this picnic event thing and kept talking. He walked me to my bus stop and tried asking me to be his exclusive boyfriend. He got SUPER down when I had to explain to him that we never even had an actual date, just two random encounters. Actually went out with him once (although tbh it was just because we were going to the same show, I didn't wanna go alone and though "why not?"). He was more chill that day but it didn't last, and when I decided to distance myself, he started calling me everyday, multiple times a day. Fun fact: I NEVER GAVE HIM THE LANDLINE NUMBER! Eventually got rid of him but we did run into each other multiple times over the next years and he was always SO weird.
3 - Guy kept telling me he couldn't get me off his mind, after only a couple weeks of seeing each other. Eventually he gave me an STD, refused to admit I'd gotten it from him and actually hid his own dyagnosis until I confronted him about it. To make it even better, the same week he sent a message to my then boss, asking for sex, while still claiming to be crazy about me and only me. I was close friends with my boss and actually at his place for dinner when the messages came. It was hilarious.

I have had my eyebrows micro-bladed twice and they look amazing! I went from having no eyebrows (a lifetime of over plucking) to have really nice eyebrows. After about 4 years they faded and I had to get them redone. But I am super happy with them! I even gifted my mom new eyebrows!

Yeah, I have had my eyebrows nano'd for over a year and they are still looking nice, I got them retouched last week (I originally asked for a bit more of an arch, but decided I'm okay with a bit more of a natural brow). A few of my coworkers have theirs done as well, and one of my old bosses has had hers done for years (with retouches since they fade a bit, they didn't go any weird colour).
Everyone's brows look good, no weird fading, no strange colours, etc. Might depend on where you go and what inks they are using and your own skin type, perhaps? None of those I know that had it done regret it so far.

@@r.n.9347The weird fading colors is based on ink. I went to a place in Seoul so of course they have dark brown and black ink only. They told me they don’t suggest brown ink because it fades to orange (this was 10 years ago). I am a dark blonde and have dyed my hair ginger before, it looks quite good with my skin tone so said that is a perk for me 😂 They still refused to use the brown ink and used black instead (I’m thinking they were secretly out but didn’t want to say)

You do understand that everybody’s pain tolerance is different, right? They’re not that painful. Also depending on the size, art style, tattoo artist & time limit of the session, they can be inexpensive. Also not everybody cares about having an extremely meaningful tattoo because when your body dies & decays, it doesn’t matter. 😂 Tattoos do not have to mean something & that is the dumbest misconception spread on the Internet. Nobody needs your validation to do something to their own body.

@@brainfluidZTattoos are painful mostly depending on location. I'm friends with a few tattoo artists and they have tattoed large burly men full of arm and leg sleeves that couldn't finish small tattoos on their ribs. Also, MILLIONS of people have regretted tattoos. It is very good sound advice to tell others to make sure the tattoo is something that means a lot to you and not something you might just like for the moment. People evolve and change over the years and it is insane to act like tattoo regret doesn't happen.

I honestly love all of my tattoos but one. Just make sure you get something you’ve been thinking of for more than a year, and make sure you look at the art style you want with each artist. Like; I usually go to one guy. But he doesn’t do very well with the art style I wanted for one specific one. So, I asked him info, he gave me a few names, I did a couple walk ins to view their art, thought about it for a couple more weeks and looked at their stuff online some more, and then decided to book an appointment with one guy. And I LOVE IT. It’s been on me for 10 years and it’s still vibrant and beautiful and I get compliments on it often. Just make sure you get something you’d love and by an artist that does well with that style. But if you still decide on not getting one, that’s fine too! Love yourself the way you are and decorate your temple the way you choose.
