- Unity Multiplayer Game Development - Hello guys, this is my 13th update video showing the progress on my current multiplayer game project. I am making a multiplayer first person action shooter game with multiple game-modes that can be played in a variety of team sizes. Hopefully that will be fun but, we'll have to see.
In this update video I finally make the player hands hold items using inverse kinematics, I add a new shotgun item, I add bullet wall banging and I create a map variant system. Lastly I implement a few other small additions and tweaks.

and at the scoreboard in game a leadersboard? who has the most points/kills in the cutrent game?

Hey i just wanted to say that your videos are awesome man they motivate most of devs for sure and i got a suggestion you should add a weapon workshop to customise your weapon like add the different type of silencers , different type of grips and etc :D

Thanks! Yeah multiplayer is an advanced game dev topic and also put VR on top of that it can be a lot of work. Start by following some tutorials and go from there.

Really nice progress so far, you've come such a long way with this game and I love the new reloading animations, its so cartoony and goofy which certainly fits the style and theme of the game.I actually love the shotgun reload, feels so refreshing and funny to the more traditional and boring reloads, hope you'll give an option to choose between reload animations, I think it's a cool addition to the FPS genre in a way. And lastly, I wonder if you'll manage to keep this game alive? From the looks of it, it might just die from being too repetitive and boring after a while, hope you have some awesome plans prepared. If you somehow read all this I sincerely thank you.

mmmmm yummy cookie thanks! Yeah glad you like the reloading and slightly goofy style.
I also worry that the game is basically just like any other boring shooter game. So I do hope to add some unique gamemodes soon that will hopefully make gameplay different from you traditional shooter. Some gamemodes may not even be about shooting each other and instead have some sort of other goal.
In the end I'm just making this game for fun and I'm not sure if it will turn out releasable, but for now I'm going to keep working at it as long as I enjoy doing it. :p

@@xzippyzachx hey! I know I’m late to the party, but may I suggest skill based air strafing with a and d? I feel it has always made games more fun for me. Like in cs, or the old lucio in overwatch used to have a and d to strafe.
You could even have a fun deathmatch mode where the floor is ice, and everyone can bhop and slide with their momentum with shotguns to get kills xD
I feel people could get a kick out of that one, since the slippery ice floor doesn’t lose your acceleration for players who aren’t so good at the strafes, whilst also providing a skill curve. If the speed gets out of hand, you could adjust the acceleration values, or just add a speed cap at a certain speed for it xD
Sorry if my suggestion is a bit overboard xD GL with the game though!

Hey may I request these features:
In a settings menu you can enable low computer mode(which decreases particles for grenades and snow and grass and clouds and others and lowers quality but enhances fps for worse computers)
in the settings menu you can enable custom crosshair mode(which allows the client to change his crosshairs to a color or chrome or default)
in the settings menu you can change chunk render(so the trees around you load with full texture but the far away things like trees and clouds don't load as great or don't load at all for better fps)
sliding(allows the client to slide down hills and ramps by pressing a key for increased momentum PS add a camera shake or motion blur while sliding depending on your velocity)
in the settings menu you can enable color highlights(so when your in range to pick up a weapon you can change the color of the outline)
lastly I just want say its my birthday today and you using any of my suggestions would be nice to know. thanks in advance...

This game is so cool, an idea for the game is to add a ranking system. What i mean is when u win u get some sort of rank points. Keep playing and get higher up a maybe add leagues for players who have more rank, so u go against ppl ur skill level. Another idea is to add a shop for cosmetics.
Yeah I plan on adding account leveling and cosmetics in the future :p

I love way your game is going so far, but I think one thing I think should be improved is killing the enemies ragdolling on death would be a lot more fun gameplay wise.

I think you should get rid of the current pistol model and make a new one. The current one is not scaled correctly to the right size and the model isn't that cool to look at. Also love seeing your progress keep it up!

Is this game gonna be like call of duty and also will you add destruction and maybe tilting (you click q or e to tilt your gun)?
Not too sure yet. Destruction is hard to network so I don't think I will get that fancy. Head tilting maybe but I don't know if it will fit the game yet.

Yep, I have it on my list to look at. Its actually a harder issue to solve then you would think. So its nit high priority right now.

What are you using to create the levels/maps?
A mix of Blender and just Unity itself
@@xzippyzachx So the terrain is in Unity and the assets like the trees are in blender?
you should make it optional so you can turn off the hands if you want

I need to make a 2d coloring game in unity. There is a painting, colors are available in right side. The task to be done is drag and drop the color into the different sections of the paintings. Please help with it. Make a tutorial video because there is not any available on youtube.

New here. How and when can I play this plus can you make the characters have real skin colour and give them face stuff like eyes nose mouth hair eyebrows if possible. I can imagine it being difficult but something to make the game more realistic. I came to this channel from the 5yrs of Unity video and i saw a fps game in which you could blow up walls using bombs maybe add that feature as well. Is this game gonna be on mobile ? If it is oh it's gonna be a fun game to play on mobile. Free mobile games with not many ads and no pay to win are the best. Good luck on your project keep working on it unlike many great games from the 5yrs of Unity video

Your making a game that's in my opinion one of the best out there and if you manage to get 12/13+ rating, this games gonna boom. I don't think It will be released for a while. I am also not sure if it will be paid. If its paid it will be < $10 and if its not paid it will need some sort of paid cosmetics in order to pay for servers

You should make it when you kill someone a kill message pops up like when you eliminate somebody in fortnite
Yes, there actually is a kill message in the bottom left, but I plan on improving it in the future.
