The banana you buy to vendor is not good eating it raw you shoud cook it fist like boiling or fried or the famous way to cook it is fried and add sugar until it caramelized (banana Q)

21:00 what you got there is a plantain banana, you can still eat it like that i.e. like a regular banana, but plantain is primarily eaten cooked. That kind of banana is the banana used in 'turon's' , 'banana cue/ginanggang (grilled banana)', 'maruya (fried banana's with batter)', etc.

The national dish of the Philippines is called "pagpag." It's made by refrying chicken bones that have been collected from the trash. Since the majority of the people in the Philippines live in slums and lack education, a lot of them have to find discarded bones in restaurants, refry them, and eat them.

heres the thing about lechon in the phillipines, lechon is a national dish in general but the cebu lechon is unique because it uses younger pig. the skin is more crispier and tastier as well as the meat, you can eat it as is without the aid of sauce, unlike the lechon in manila or any other places, dipping the the lechon in it sauce enhances the flavor.the cebu lechon does not need that... so everyone prefers the cebu lechon over the regular lechon if its available.
